Whenever I plug an aux cord into my headphone jack, ok Google pops onto my screen telling me Big Brother's listening to me. This is super annoying and stops my music from playing. I have combed through every setting and internet forum to find a solution but it no luck so far. I don't want Mr Google to shove his face into my life every two seconds, I just need his help for the occasional search. Please give me an option to turn off Ok Google completely!

The app used to be much better. I would get only the reports from the teams I follow. Now, I need to cope with 50 news stories that I never requested and that are not interesting to me in the least. I spend a lot of time clicking"not interested"in all the news stories. Also, I used to be able to see the sports matches that were already finished, so that I could see recaps, and now those are gone. Bring back the better version of the app so I can give it 5 stars again.

I know that some people don't like the notification "bing" that let's them know that Google is listening. However, I like hearing the bing sound when I hit my Voice Search app. Since the latest update, I get haptic feedback, but no bing. Please bring it back and make it optional to turn on/off for those who don't like to hear it. The only way to hear it now is if I uninstall the updates. I like options.

OK Google does not narrates the time when the voice command what time is it is given to it and where am I is given to it? Hi Google, We are using MOTO G2 users. One of the best mobile at that time. Android version 6.0 Last 2 years We are not get any updates. Particularly security patch level August 2016. I know that my phone is not available Android 7.0-- but my humble request please update next level of Marshmallow version. And important update of security patch level. Because my all important details protect the Google. We hope Google security. So Google developer team please update new features in my device(for example: split screen, android version, security patch level and so on....) We hope you. Please don't neglect. Since I used the google pixel 2 xl, I've been using "hey google" quite often.. and I'm loving how fast and accurate she performed.. but just Abit minor touch up on voice recognition to names.. apparently after making her pronounce the name that I want her to call she still heard the wrong name.. for e.g. I wanna call "kadim" she called "Edwin" and when I tried "Eddy" she called "Ong".. hahahah

I regret for having moved from iPhone to Google P2. I can't download almost any app that I have used to have for a long time because of the obsoleted region restriction that Android's keeps and in which APPLE had moved on decades ago. And I'm not the only user who has complained of the matter. I'm going to give away this device and get any iPhone, this situation is killing me, I can't stand it anymore

OS 7.1.1 • I have to constantly clear cards I already cleared. Please fix this garbage. I also tell it I don't want to see YouTube stories (as an example) and that never works either. idk how, but you made it worse! Don't choose google apps, someone else is probably doing it better

I used to love it but since the last update it won't show me anything on my agenda. Won't give me suggested times to leave to be on time or early for appointments. Because of that I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it to the original version until they get this new update figure it out.

Update: Still mostly spam news from Indian sources in my feed, and no support for problems with this app apparently. For some reason the news collector is showing me almost nothing but news from Indian newspapers. Nothing against India, just not sure why Google has decided to inundate me with politics and celebrity gossip from there.

Yes it is very small, convenient probably accurate. A great place on phone to store those ever increasing passwords...but...when finished what about fingerprint scanner? Where is it? How do you activate it? Is it the same one required to open phone? Cannot find answers to these questions.

Suddenly 4 months ago, Google decided that I'm British and am interested in news from the UK. Nothing against the Brits, but I'm an American living in the US and prefer news from here instead of Brexit, Manchester United, and the Royal family. I have sent Google feedback on this over a dozen times, and no fix. Guess they just aren't interested.

They got rid of the swiping to remove news articles from my feed. They also split up my feed so I can't get weather, traffic, and my news all in one place. I'm removing the feed and not using this app any longer. Although I might have to, since I use the assistant quite a bit.

You made worthless upgrades and now the quality has gone down. You'd think SW engineers could fix issues and create useful products. Instead it's all for job security! Like who else could fix the secret time bombs but them. Yippy we all get to suffer for their selfish pride!

UPDATE 12-28-2018. Confirmed, it is the Google app causing the problem- as soon as I uninstalled updates, problem fixed. Now I must cancel auto updates on the app until problem is resolved. PLEASE fix ASAP, Google! Using on a Galaxy S6. Since the recent update, I get a stunningly loud "touch tone" type sound when attempting to make a call via voice assistant (while using my bluetooth earphone). Wow. Fix this, Google - quickly!

Okay Google from any screen is not working on my one plus 5.. Check setting tried to setup okay Google from any screen and its always says please check your connection and try again later whereas I am connected to high speed internet wifi.. I have been trying to say "OK, Google" with my phone locked but it doesn't work! I have the 'unlock with voice match' setting on but it still doesn't work. I am on the Moto X4 with Project Fi. Help! I want to be able to just ask Google something without it prompting me to unlock.

Worked great until the last update. Now "hey Google" doesn't work. It won't allow me to access the retrain voice screen and it keeps telling me my microphone isn't working. I uninstalled it back to factory settings and everything works fine including the voice recognition and "hey google". Please fix it's annoying to keep uninstalling to a previous edition when the update automatically causes it not to work. I can still type and manually press the "mic" and talk but no hands free.

I cannot even record my voice model. Ok google was not working so I decided to delete my voice model and make a new one. But when I was about to do it, it tells me that 'problem with connection: check your connection and try again.' but my internet is all fine.

I now get a horrible tone in my Bluetooth headset when long pressing the button, although it goes once the command is actioned. Please fix google. There was nothing wrong with the previous version. How do I get it back?

Doesn't work well anymore. Poor layout, no customisation of value. Turn on feed, and you get whatever they want you to get no matter what you turn off. "Upcoming" page should be home page. Very bright white. Needs a dark theme, total revamp and upgrade. Assistant is ok, but the rest is very dated.

Google now has become a newsreader for news I have no interest in reading. I disabled news from THREE different settings pages to no avail. Update: the articles showing have become extremely offensive and inappropriate. Also Google has removed the option to disable the feed.

Features are good but the performance with the last few updates has become poor. Long lags on activating, missed voice commands and force closes. It's very frustrating to use now. I'm on Nougat 7.1 with plenty of free device RAM (usually half is free).

Can't disable the spammy 'Stories to read'. I've tried everything, almost rendering the phone useless by disabling this app (you can then no longer launch other apps). I don't want stories pushed in my face.

This app used to be the best thing ever and the answer to all my questions but now, when I download pics, they never show up in my gallery and it's not just me coz it happens to my friend too. Please fix this if you expect me to even think about liking this app again????????

The 'hey google' update doesn't even work and it is quite frustrating. The weather card is all the way at the bottom which mine used to be at the top, which I preferred. Notifications never make a sound or vibrate when the settings are set to vibrate and to a specific ringtone.

I think the Google is suffering from "Hard To Hear" problem. Since it can't hear me at once. I need to speak a couple of times to wake up the assistant. After that I am able to ask her anything. Please fix this.

They took away the swipe feature to dismiss feed cards. Very uninnovated. Made me choose to buy a note 8 on order instead of even checking out the pixel 2 xl. Hopefully Bixby will be a better substitute

I really want to like it, but Arabic language support is bad ..also No off-line support for arabic.. Search with two languages used to work well before but not anymore, it's one or the other, when you speak arabic it writes in English and when you speak English it writes in Arabic... really frustrating (so I have to remove one language from the settings)

I really like this app, but since the12-12 update, the app has a big issue! When I push the button my Bluetooth to speak, I get a loud noise in my ear. Like a touchtone. I had to delete the update. I will change my rating after the problem is fixed.

Latest update has made bluetooth calling impossible. When I activate my bluetooth to make a call, there is a very loud noise (similar to holding down a number on a phone). This was working fine until last couple of days.

Wish the cards could be swiped away like with the Google Now Launcher. Also wish this was named something besides just 'Google', making it impossible to search for information about it. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. As is, only 2 stars.

The Google feed is deteriorating in quality and utility. There is a very active and negative user response across multiple Google forums regarding the inability to disable "trending stories". The community response/workaround is to disable the Google application altogether. Very upsetting as this used to be a great application (circa Google Now) that had useful, personalized information and updates available with a swipe. Simple request; fix/enable the ability to disable trending stories.

Jesus Christ. What's happened to the Google app? The terrible feed recommendations coupled with sporadic commute notifications? Get it together Google! Then you'll get 5 stars.

I don't find the new save system appealing, you have to go on over to the site in order to look at it. This really bugs me. The old save system and was better. Then there was the old google search bar where if you looked something up it shows you an image though now that's taken off too. For now I'll give 2 stars.

I advise people waiting before updating to new 12/15 update. Screeching when trying to use speech to text using my Bluetooth. Google knows this (if they are reading their issue forums) because many of us are having this problem with the new Hey Google assistant update. Have to uninstall and wait for fix. Not phone brand or Bluetooth specific. People might holdup before rushing in.

It simply doesn't work. Problems with the microphone, problems getting the information right, problems getting rid of things I'm not bothered with. It doesn't even take my frustration well any more, it answers back!

Highly Angry. Y'all need to know if anything happens to your Device, Google locks your account and makes it virtually impossible to restore. No one writes down the date they first created an email account. Totally Disastrous!!!
