About Gospel Study Challenge Lite

Gospel Study Challenge Lite is tailored to an LDS audience and is meant to help drive personal gospel study. The user can create any number of challenges. These challenges can consist of a distinct standard work or General Conference, or the user may compile a custom set of chapters, sections and talks from various standard works and General Conferences to study more topically.

Logging progress is easy and allows the user to record insights, observations and questions. If Gospel Library is installed the user can link to that app and read the content, or read in the device browser if Gospel Library is not installed.

A simple dashboard displays all of the user's current challenges, showing their progress relative to the time until the goal date and a message reporting how much they must study each day to successfully complete the challenge.

If you like more social interaction, or want to drive a challenge with your family or friends, then check out Gospel Study Challenge Pro for added functionality.

At the beginning of a B of M challenge for our High Priest Group, I reviewed a handful of different apps. This was the best one. Very simple and quick to install, configure, and start using--literally 5 mins from download to using--and had a good set of features. Being integrated with LDS Library is a must. It's not perfect, when I completed Moroni 7 it said I was done and I couldn't open that "challenge" anymore, but it was perfect for me. It was a big factor in me completing my challenge in half the time.

Keeps "track" like it is supposed to. When will you usually put up the new conference talks? Thank you for putting this together

Great app

I love this app bc it helps me remain focused and it motivates me to set higher goals. But when I read 2 chapters for my day and I want to log those 2 chapters although I have several chapters left, it only allows logging when you're done with the entire challenge. I want it to say in the log that I have read so many of this many so that I can see my progress as I go. That keeps me motivated. Also needs editing options like if I want to change my challenge or delete it once I'm done. Thanks in advance!

Figuring that I need to read X number of chapters to reach my goal is great, except that some chapters are WAY longer than others. What about an option to select tracking by number of pages instead?

I just started using this tracker today and so far like how it was easy to set up and takes me to what I need to read. I would like to see a reminder feature so I'm alerted at a certain time each day if I haven't completed my reading yet. Thank you!

Makes it easy to set goals, track progress and record notes

I liked this app A LOT, until the very last day when I was just finishing up the last part of my goal. I went on to put the last three chapters and it had deleted the whole goal! I would like to be able to see what goals I have completed and maybe give a little leeway with the end date by not closing the goal until the day after, off only for informational purposes. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

I have been trying to use this....I'm going in circles....I guess I am a dummy.....somewhere in this app it should have directions on how to do the app but also how to create new....it wants chapters...pushing finish causes it to repeat itself......never used one before and I won't get pro til I can figure out how to use this one

It's a great tracker, but I would like it to tell me what verses to read too. For example it told me to read 3. 2 chapters a day of the Book of Mormon, I would like to be able to hit a "Read It" button and have it pull up the next 3.2 chapters that I need to read. Is that possible?

It doesn't have the option for Preach My Gospel. I am preparing to go on a mission and would find that very useful.

Developer Joe Rowley, you rock. Thanks for helping me to not slack off on reading the good word more consistent and faithfully. I'll be purchasing the Pro version just as a thank you. Way better than the following reading charts. -You (I) can see how buried you'll get if you (I) don't keep up.
