Application allows you send and receive data ,monitor data exchange between serial devices, troubleshoot and test modem settings, write and save your own macros. Open as many serial ports as you like; dynamically change serial port settings without necessity to close and reopen current port; adjust baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits, flow control parameters.
Application is fully compatible with FTDI communication interfaces based on FTDI chips FT232 and FT2232.

Unable to get this to work with my N7. Recognises my FTDI adaptor, however, when connected either crahses or I can't get any comms with the device. Disappointing as the app seems to have all the functionality I require!

This works on both a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) and a Tesco HUDL (Jelly Bean 4.2.2) with the Brainboxes US-324B RS422/RS485 USB-Serial adapter. I only got chance to test at 4800 baud but I don't see why it shouldn;t work at other speeds. It detects the Brainboxes US-101B (RS232) adapter as well, but I didn't have an RS232 signal to test properly so I can't verify that. Unfortunately it's not the most user-friendly of apps but if it saves me having to lug a heavy laptop behind ship navigation system cabinets, I can live with that!

High volume Rx signal like that comes from a GPS chip refreshes whatever I type in the send input before even I finish typing, let alone send. This is frustrating.

Update October 2016: It doesn't work with Android 6.0.1 and there seems to be no further development, which is a pity.
