Crackle - Free TV & Movies

Don't get me wrong you guys have some good stuff but how are you going to have 30 days of night 2 and not have the first one? Get on the ball guys. Plus you have more commercials than regular television and longer! Let's see some improvement please. I'll change my rating when fixed thank you and please improve your horror section.

A FREE Movie and discontinued TV show app that provides minutes to hours of mind-numbing entertainment. Along with plenty of commercials for trips to the restroom, kitchen, random acts of kindness and becoming involved in more productive activities. The CRACKLE app has closed automatically a few times thereby forcing me to get back to work, pay attention to important activities or just nap. Thanks for making the CRACKLE app more user conscious.

After downloading this app I noticed my Nexus 6 started acting buggy and very slow so I went into the apps menu and disabled it. I love the content and think it's a great app if you have a Nexus 6 remember to disable it when you're done using it because of that I'm only giving it two stars if they could figure out how to make it work better on my phone I probably give it 4

I understand as a free app ads are necessary but literally spending more time viewing ads (same ads over and over) than watching movie. Plus at every ad it brings you back to the home page so you have to see the same ads AGAIN! Spending 2 hrs to watch a 1 hr show is absurd!

Been using a few years, only problem is the ads now are getting to be a bit much. Sometimes with more ad time than the a actual show itself. But, I love the show selection. All my favorite from the early 80s to 90s are on here. Don't really care for the new shows so this is perfect for me, just wish the ads could be toned down a bit, maybe even an in app purchase to kill the ads/multiple commercials?

This is an excellent app. The only things keeping it from 5 Stars are the commercials (which I understand is necessary), and the same or similar B-rated movies that appear each month. Other than that, very good classics and others that are fun. Also, no nonsense regarding attaining the app. Simply download it and give them an e-mail address. Then you're ready to watch movies! Enjoy!

First off, it's free. Of course there is about two ads per episode/movie. Perfectly fine considering it's free. However the app is quite buggy. The Facebook login crashes the app, luckily doesn't stop you from viewing the content, just sucks for keeping track of what you have watched. Great to see the chromecast functionality, perfect if you are trying to be cheap with TV. Definitely could use more content, I mostly watch Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Amazing show!

It looks like this app detects WiFi changes with supported decoders and starts on its own when one is present. There are two networks I connect to at work and every time signal changes make me switch network the app starts and I have to close it again. Oddly the only place it doesn't launch on its own is at home where I want to use it, and I couldn't even find a way to disable this!

It doesn't really have a big enough selection for Me to keep on my phone. I found abt 3 good movies. N there were mainly good because I haven't seen them n YEARS . The movies they have seen like movies u find at Walmart n the 5$ Ben. Then their TV shows they have shows like "mad about you" . I forgot all about that show until I downloaded this app. I dont mind the classics. But there are modern day classics too.

The one stars are hilarious.. I have high speed internet and crackle never buffers for me. There is a wide selection for whatever your looking for and best of all.. it's free people!!! So what if there is ads? I'd rather sit through 2 minutes of ads then pay 5 bucks to rent ONE movie.. lol millennials and their entitlement

I love the content the quality could be better. I could deal with the content and all of the ads if the subtitles would work. I used it once on the first movie I watched and it was fine but ever since they won't come up. If I select the English subtitles and then press done it shows that I've selected until I back out and go back into the movie and then the options. I'd be willing to rate 4 or 5 stars if this issue was fixed

Great movie choices!!! Unfortunately every time it gets to the end of a movie there is so much lag that the movie just keeps skipping. Definitely would be a five star app if it wasn't for this. This has nothing to do with my hardware or connection cause hulu and Netflix work fine. Please fix this and I'll give you five stars.

Nice streaming service. Even in places where hulu is sputtering along, Crackle is free and easy. Content is mostly B rated. One quirky feature, Crackle turns on by itself at some odd places /times. That's why Itook one star away. Like a needy child that wants attention. But a child that you love.

It had some cool movies but not much of what I've heard of... maybe you could add some more newer movies like The Scorch Trials for the Maze runner series. Also I would prefer less commercials that interrupt the movie. Other than that I have had no problem with this app and would recommend it to friends.

With Sony behind this app, you think the quality would be better. It comes on when I'm not using it have commercials during the middle of the movie. The movie apps I mentioned above has none of that great qualities same kind of movies more to choose from. I give this movie apps and -500 they should just disassemble this movie app. You used crackle you're on crack

Decent shows to choose from, regular TV shows, movies, anime etc..... But app doesn't always work on all different kinds of phones/tablets. They usually don't overload you with ads. Bottom line is if you don't feel like using your tiny thumbs to scour the Google search for streaming links, then you can just fire up Crackle and pick something to fall asleep to ;)

Runs great on my phone the ads don't bother me and to be honest I rarely get buffering. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because of the movie and TV selection I wish you would change more often. There's a lot of programs that could be on there that are not. Please add more movies and TV shows more often! Other than that this is one of my favorite apps on my phone!

I love it so much instead of watching things on my amozon stick i can watch it on here + the budfering might be bc of your Wi-Fi so i dont blame the app! And the quality eh who cares as long as you can axtually watch movies Free! On Netflix.you have to pay thats what i like about this app you dont have to Pay!

First of all, this app ads you to death! I tried watching one movie & it forced closed at least 7 times during the movie and the WIFI connection kept disconnecting. My network connection is very reliable. So... a movie that should of taken only two hours to watch, took about 45 minutes longer due to all the delays. Also, I searched for Sandford and Son bc that was a show option in the past. No results. Guess I'll uninstall this app. Good selection of titles so it deserves one star. Plz fix?

This is a great app when it comes to a free movie and TV show service. But recently (possibly with a new update), the playback function (which allows you to start a movie, show, or series from where you last left off) is having bugs where it will start the entire medium over again. This also sometimes happens after watching an ad in the middle of a video. Crackle Please fix this and I might reconsider rating five stars. I understand this is a free app with free services, but it still needs a little work.

I've used crackle before but it was never this bad. I see about a 10 second clip of a show before it goes to 3-5 commercials. It feels like that is all I'm watching. I get 1/2 way into the show and it starts "buffering". I can't see the show, but I can hear it. When I try to fix the issue, it just switches me back to another round of commercials.

Don't have any issues with the viewing pleasure of the free movies. Many people complain about adds but let's face it, it is how they make their money. My only issue is please add more current up to date movie selections. That way people will keep coming back and using the app. Thanks.

Used it a long time ago and got it back. Great playback, for those who say is slow or keeps buffering, that is not the app people, better get faster internet because this plays perfect. Ads are understandable as we know that's what keeps it free. Thank you guys, keep it up!

There is one real problem with Crackle and that is it had limited content for viewer selection. The quality of the content is acceptable and streams fairly well. Initially, it may provide you with plenty to earth but for a relatively short period of time. Because once you have watched what you want, without adding content more often, there just isn't enough of a content selection to keep you coming back.

There are tons of reviews talking about all the ads. It's a free app, which means they have to make money somewhere. The ads don't bother me since I'm capable of understanding how a business works. Also, the videos have always played perfectly for me.

Plays my watchlist in reverse chronological order. No auto play next episode. Must reconnect to Chromecast after each played episode because the play button just stops working. When on a single episode page the back button takes me to the apps home screen rather than the shows episode list. But video quality is top notch and commercials are bearable. If the UI was fixed, I'd definitely upgrade this review to 5 stars.

I tried to watch some shows and there is sometimes errors on them. The errors should pop up before the adds because i am wasting my time watching a add just for the app to tell that i cant watch the show. Never mind theres no more adds because i didnt want to wastebmy time. So i deleted the app. Please do not download the app it does not have new shows or movies. Nust download showbox its better

There are shows and movies that were good, but a lot more just so-so to "why would I want to watch that?" Checked it out again and saw some new stuff....but now they buffer a lot and you better like watching the first 10-20 minutes twice because both shows I saw did that. I don't think I'll give it a third time.

What's the deal? You can find a decent movie to watch. And you can even start it. I'll give you that... but good luck watching it the whole way through! After first commercial break, it returns you to the beginning again. Over and over. Each time a little further into it. At that rate it would take me 24 hours to watch a two hour movie no thanks. Uninstalling

You only have ads for your own content and you don't make any money from them so why are they even there. A few for an entire movie or show is plenty. The ads pop up during playback and then the movie has to buffer because if it. Can't even enjoy one show. Disappointing. After exiting the app to check a text it starts at the beginning also

I'm not completely unsatisfied. The only problem that I really have is when I try to resume what I was watching or make another selection it says that the app has stopped working. Gets annoying after a while when I close the app and try opening again and I get the same result several times. Then again it's free and nothing's perfect

This buffering thing....really??!! Feel like that should've been an issue in 2005, this app has issues. Used to use it on an iPod touch and liked it but had the same problem back then too. Come on!! Gonna keep it for now cause I like that youre adding better movies and shows but please work better for streaming. Plus, when I resume a program it pretty much decides where it wants to resume.

Yet no fixes or even response saying working on it! I dont believe the good marks count is accurate from what I see and read low marks and complaints all of which I have had buffering, loosing spot, adds ridiculous and if you rewind you watch adds again .The show doesn't go back to right spot so you rewind to get to spot and you have to watch adds again and they get more revenue so do is it losing our spot on purpose to make us watch the adds again come on!!!!

I was so excited to watch all the movies on this app and sat down and chose the movie I wanted to watch and the advertisement kept popping up through the movie so I got irritated and stopped the movie. If I wanted commercials I would watch regular television. If it was my opinion the advertisement should show before the movie and that is it but sorry Crackle I will be deleting this app.

I don't understand what is wrong with this app. I was finally to sign up (after not having option for the first month it was installed), now its telling me that it can't be completed. So anytime I watch something and have to stop in the middle of it, my place doesn't get saved. Its extremely frustrating... Im on the verge of just completely uninstalling the app...

Wow, I can't stand commercials. Especially crackle commercials. The same ones back to back. Guess that's how they keep it free, I don't know. Lag is bad and picture goes fuzzy every know and then. OMGOODNESS!! I just got hit with another set of commercials before I could finish my comment. I do like the site though, if Crackle could fix and upgrade the video play back I would give it a 4star rating. Would never get a 5 star rating from me due to all the commercials.

Great selection of movies, some adds but it's free. However it glitches out a lot and plays only audio while the picture is frozen. It'll crash and say unable to load or something along those lines when I try to reload the already created movie. Had exited out and even closed mid movie. Mainly reloading after the ads is when the audio problem happens. Some bugs that need fixed but good free movies

It restarts the movies at commercial breaks sometimes. its been going on for months. How are you unaware and have not fixed this. I turn it off and dont watch anymore. I bet your sponsors with you real happy with you. Sponsors stop wasting your money with these guys I'm not watching it anymore and not seeing your products your selling. This app is junk dont waste your time unless you like watching a movie that starts over and over at different points.

I use to like crackle but the quality of the app now stinks. It opens by itself; movies constantly stop and return to the main menu; recently it has switched too a spanish version of crackle...wtf. I would like to give it a better rating but, no.

Some shows don't even have all seasons and starts you off at like season 3 episode 12 so you don't know what the back story is, also the ad advertises Blue Mountain State, but its no where to be found, its the only reason I downloaded the app tbh
