GSam Battery Monitor

This has helped me finally track down what was using up so much battery. It took about a day for it to get enough info to identify the issues. Things are much better now. Thanks to the devs.

The best application to know which programs are draining the battery. I personally didn't find any better than this app to monitor the background activity of my phone.

Seems to provide a lot of accurate battery information about my phone, while not using much of the battery itself.

Last version force closes.

Just what I was looking for. Easy, simple, unobtrusive app. Saved me hours of battery every day.

Works well but will not start at boot with my MotoX Pure running Android 7.0. And I do have the option to start at boot selected, made sure the app resides in phone's internal memory, not the SD card.

The best battery monitoring app. Been waiting for the update and now it's finally here. Just noticed battery meter and GSAM battery monitor is not synchronized when you wake up device from sleep. I hope this gets fixed soon...

No issues. But the reason for 3 stars is that the notification status annoys me. I always like the notification bar clean. There isn't a setting to turn on or off the notification status.

This app was suggested from the Lenovo Motorola forum & I am absolutely happy with this. Its accurate in pointing out which app drains your battery. The device's system reading is wayward & not the least reliable. Have this app a.s.a.p ✊

It really helped figure out why our battery life was so short at times. Our cell tower signal goes way down at times and really eats up battery life. Thanks

On a Galaxy S8 (Verizon) I used ADB to allow the app to distinguish between apps as far as battery usage is concerned. It's working great now after the latest update. Back to 5 stars

Developer is still actively and quickly responds to bug reports! Hopefully the latest update fixes the issues people have been having with the permissions staying.

By far the best battery app. No annoying pop ups, or added bloat.

Provides a lot of stats but without any real explanation. They need to install a Help menu or direct you to their website to give you full explanations of exactly what everything means.

Great analytics, has identified several apps that kill battery even when you think they're not running in the background. Helpful and fast support too.

No better than the stock settings in identifying battery-sucking apps if your phone isn't rooted or you don't want to sideload random software.

I usually don't provide a review, but I've been sated with this app in terms of knowing what components of my phone have consumed battery and overall usage. The app presents the info in a laconic but useful way and is reasonable (unlike some apps) in terms of ads, making it overall, highly useful and recommended.

Cough cough HORRIBLE it might tell you the battery but when it tells you what drains the battery this app drains battery in mili seconds. HELL NO. Don't get this unless you wanna drain the battery. It can drive it to 0% in less than a minute!!!

It was great until I checked a few minutes ago. I had set custom reference some 7 hours before and the time is showing 7 hours but when i select it shows the history from some few minutes ago. Where is the actual monitor log?

Finally, the "adb permission being lost bug" is fixed! I was fixing to give up on this app. I'm glad I didn't. Thank you dev, for fixing the adb permission bug! It was super annoying.

So the gsam battery app itself uses 35 percent of the battery, more than any other app. Well done guys, amazing work.

I have not used a lot of the features in the app, but my favorite feature so far is the battery widget for the home screen.

I got the app because my phone was telling me I was at 100% all of the time.This app is doing the same, even after hours of use I am at 100% Not happy.

AS STATED.... YOU DO NOT..." show deep Insight into what is using your battery...." You said you can't show what apps are using the battery because google won't let you. SO WHY MAKE THE APP IN THE FIRST PLACE... SHESH!!!!

There are bugs regarding statistics on my One plus 5. Battery statistics aren't being updated properly

Running on Android 7.0 with permissions. I had to downgrade from 7.1.1 to 7.0.0 to save more battery. Don't need to root. Just ran some adb commands and now I get exact readings on battery drainers.

No ampere value is displayed, this is a central drawback for a battery monitoring app.

This App almost drained my phone's battery by itself using over 50% of my battery whilst my phone was largely inactive otherwise.

This app had solved several phone /battery issues for me. I am pleased. Ads to deal with.
