Notepad - Text Editor

A fantastic application. Having a problem doing a file transfer of the dot txt file to my computer using a normal USB data cable. Albeit, I am able to transfer other files such as PDFs and images with no problem. I'll continue investigating. Other than that it is a spot on application and thank you to the developer.

You're joking right? Took the developer 2 years to add basic Sdcard writing. Now, we're swamped with adverts. Can't I just buy it?

Absolute junk. I opened a simple text file and it displays an empty page. Uninstalling.

I opened a file with it but it shows it empty but other editor apps are showing my data

I got this app only to edit Dropbox simple ASCII text files. But this app will not save any file in my Dropbox. No error message is ever given. All edits are just lost. It does not matter if the file is saved locally or only in the cloud. It simply doesn't work for me. Android 7.1.1.

Not that impressed. I installed this to work on something I've written while on the move. I can do that. However, I had to enable and disable the line numbers every time I opened the app, even though they showed as disabled in the settings. When I got home, transferred the file to my pc and opened it there was just a solid block of text with symbols where the paragraph breaks were so now I have to spend time adding the line breaks in even though I already added them when I originally typed it out. The worst thing though is that it added every word from the story to my phone's dictionary. Things that I've never written on my phone now appear in the word prediction. I can type full paragraphs from my story, that were originally typed on a pc, by repeatedly pressing the middle button on my phone. So like i say, not that impressed.

Please make a little arrangements. Just need a easy and better button to create new text file, it would be good if it is a round shaped floating button to the down right corner.

Good but Notepad is already the name of a Windows program. NotepadEX. Or something. But still a good app.

A good simple text editor completely spoilt and unusable because when trying to copy and paste text the command are in a foreign script (possibly Thai?) rather than English.

For its basic function it does what it was designed to do. Would be nice to save the text to the sd card.

Can manage where to save file. Can open and edit txt files written with other txt apps or with Windows Notepad on a computer. Can upload and download to Google Drive or Dropbox. Can set text size (love this) Can set theme. It is good old plain TXT usable anywhere. It handles big long files the only problem is very slow scrolling.

Its good notepad text editor but not rich text format, and big problem there is no text direction change from roght to left or from left to right do we can't write arabic in good allign.

Cant access the phone's sd card it only opens the internal memory please add an option to access and open text files stored on the external sd card

Great app if you prefer a windows like notepad in android. However it does not show my added memory card in file browser.
