WGAL News 8 and Weather

Loved the previous app. Ad videos run as soon as they pop up, no 10 day forecast, I just wanted weather not all of the news. Love WGAL, not this new app!!!!

No, no, no i want just weather combining the apps and forcing me to deal with all the insanity in the world isn't happening I guess I'm going back to weatherbug

Too many ads. Very inconsistent... you shouldn't have to watch 5 or 6 ads every time you want a news update.

The ads take up half the screen. Not much space left for news. Good tv station. The app....not so much

I can't watch the news I press nowcast is not letting me get in whats up with that I'm about to uninstall it

This app has inappropriate ads. Blocking or reporting does not make a difference.

UPDATE: WHY IS MY INTERNET SECURITY TELLING ME THIS HAS MALWARE ALL OF A SUDDEN??????? This app updates regularly but you can't read the whole article of breaking news..only the short 1 to 2 sentences and you HAVE to watch a video for all content..also, the ads on the videos are ridiculous..so long and even if you rewatch the video you have to watch another long ad..then when it finally gets to the video it doesn't play..

I love this app bc I was down in ocean city one time and there was a tornado that no one knew about and the storm alert popped up and then we knew to take cover and that alert saved our lives.

I've been watching wgal since I was a youngster I grew up watching pm magazine we're Kim lemon and Doug Allen started.

I installed the app and tried to watch stories on the upcoming snow storm. Each story had an ad that played right away however the actual stories didn't play...they would just spin snd spin. After several minutes i got tired of waiting for them to upload. I don't have this issue with other apps. Very disappointing.

Ad for every video. Ad if you want to watch same video again. To many ads to be a productive app.

Enjoy being kept up to date with daily news, app is quite reliable, must be great tech support, because I am always kept up to date with no outages or skips... app is reliable and up to date... terrific

There are ads on everything you watch. Other apps like lancaster online dont ruin the news with 15 second ads everytime you click. Oh and if you scroll down on the screen enough, the video stops. When you hit play it loads another ad and starts over. Not worth your time until they wise up and fix the ad issues.

It's only ok. It's nice to have local news but you can't read the whole notification by pulling down like with other apps. Also, many times when I click to notification to go to the link it leads nowhere.

I have to watch a 30 second commercial for news 8 before being able to see a 5 second news clip. Then this happens for every story I click. I also want more written stories. I can't watch video at work but I could glance and read a headline. It's has very little content.

Terrible! Stuff is out of date. No articles. You have to watch everything on a video. I will be getting my local news from Lancasteronline

This app is wonderful because the app let's you know important or breaking news by the notification sound. This is like the number one news app✌

Ever since updating this app it doesn't work right. For one issue, I tap the notification and it doesn't open. Then if I launch the app I often can't find the story I was notified about. No options for filters like local news. Never found this app very friendly or useful. Deleting it.

Been using this app for about a month. Stories with vids rarely work and there isnt an article with vids...some irrelevant "stories" stay posted way too long. New "stories" pop up at random spots so you still have to scroll all the way to the bottom...and cmon with the 30 second ads for a 30 second clip...not to mention the 5 mins of buffering.

Definitely better than it was!

New update not happening, now it just crashed all the time, won't even load the stories half the time, gets worse with every update, now the ads are so intrusive its unusable

Most annoying app on my phone. Way too many ads

All of a sudden when I choose weather it no longer shows 7 day forecast or detailed forecast.

Love WGAL. They are like family. Friend got info on news this am plus on your sight. So had to get this news of today. Can't believe I missed it! Hope this app helps on days like today.

The app will give you breaking news but it never loads oops is the apps favorite saying it never works if I could give it zero stars I would

I miss the old app! I find the new version disorganized and difficult to use. And I don't want to have to watch videos. I like to read the articles on my phone. I just preferred the way the old app was organized. I probably will uninstall it until they change it again.

I personally liked the old version way better ( and do many others ) for starters it has way to many ads! So for example let's say they have 5 different video clips of news that you want to watch, that means you have to watch all 5 full length commercials each and everytime! No thanks...
