Try making some initial mortgage assumptions, then adjust the down payment...notice the monthly payment doesn't change! Horrible; basic math is broken.

This app is designed to peddle mortgages, and it's pretty obviously designed to ignore the many costs of homeownership. Size of downpayment and the associated opportunity costs, inflation rate, home maintenance costs and homeowners insurance are all NOT considered in this calculator. Look elsewhere if you want anything but the most basic tool. Also wouldn't properly display when my screen was held vertically on my DROID

Any calculator that doesn't include a section for taxes is useless.

Tapped refinance and it didnt recalculate a single thing based on the information I entered. There is no "calculate" button to force it, so its pretty us less for the only thing I downloaded it for.
