After today update Yahoo is working but all google accounts failed do connect. Following developer advice I have deleted and setup 3 google accounts again. It help but there should be some kind of warning as doing whole operation on 3 google accounts where you have 2 factor autentication and special passwords take quite long time. Thank you

The new update now clears the unread mail count on the shortcut icon when one dismisses the notification for incoming mail... This makes zero sense. Unread count should be precisely that... A count of unread messages. Should have zero tie to the incoming notification that sits in the notification menu.

Was working OK until today's update. Now my Google account is not working. Looks like I'm not the only one. I deleted account and tried to login again. Getting errors. Still not working... Message from Google state this app has security issues..

N70%
by N####:

Ever since update it states gmail sign in issues and will not allow me into the settings to do anything about it. Hotmail works ok.

M70%
by M####:

Everytime I open a email notification, clicking back from there, opens the email account in 'All Messages' view rather than inbox or my previous view.

N70%
by N####:

Crashes and won't download any email from my Gmail accounts.

N70%

Worse searching.. not syncing quickly, like other apps.

The latest update has screwed the whole thing! Are you kidding me HTC, I mean, why the hell do I need to add this particular account, configured here, to my other accounts in chrome? Or for that matter in the main gmail client. If I am forced to add it to the main gmail client, then I don't need your mail client. Since yesterday all I'm seeing is "login failed". The moment I try to proceed further, it says I have to add this account to main gmail client! Why?

N70%
by N####:

Gmail now works. Simply remove your account and RE log in.

I cant resize any attachment before i send it!

Yesterday I flashed my HTC 10 EU version to HTC 10 US version 2.51.617.11 because I'm s-offed. I find the login was different than that of Europe. And the certificate warning is not shown yet.

Crashed, it wouldn't event generate report. It wouldn't even open. Frustrated

Love it...except... Gmail has the feature in Nougat to allow users to delete mail from the notification menu. HTC Mail only allows users to reply or forward by swiping down in the notification menu - any chance of adding in the option to delete? If you did, I'd switch back to HTC Mail.

Simply one of the best if not the best email app ever. Easy to setup and automatic syncs with any accounts you have. Reliable and secure with good junk filter. Only negative, it doesn't show embedded or inserted image in email for some reason.

Would get more stars if it didn't leave out Microsoft folders. Try blue mail which a better 5 star option. Recent updates have broken sending MSN mail and it frequently refuses to sync with msn servers unlike other programs. Delete mail recently stopped working. A year ago this was a great program but HTC breaks it more with each update. 9-4-17 new issues:New bug with Microsoft mail now disables sending mail over WiFi but allows it over sprint LTE, and it still can't show other folders.

Was quite good before but last months it's very unreliable. After using it a couple of weeks it's stops working, first sync problems then a bit later it didn't even start. Only solution is to reset the app and start from square one again. Repeat every 2-4 weeks.

This was good until the software upgrade around March now it doesn't push my emails and I manually have to refresh it. Why has this happened? I'll have to use another email client unless it's sorted.

Htc u ultra, it worked brill, until tonight now my hotmail account is opening in Google account. And the auto sync ain't working.

N70%

Had sync problems after latest update on htc 10 but turning off power saving fixed it.

App is great but I have one question why doesn't the printer work with it I can't print emails from this app please fix or tell me how to do so please

W70%
by W####:

It used to be my regular mail server, but recently it's crashing so much that it doesn't even load.

N70%
by N####:

Work email is not syncing, and that's just unacceptable. Deactivating until this gets fixed.

N70%
by N####:

This app still and outdated than any other email apps

T70%
by T####:

Doesn't work with Intune enabled office 365 accounts. Nine email client works perfectly fine.

M70%
by M####:

Very nice email application. Anyone experiencing sync issues please set the sync type to push. Do not use smart sync if email is critical for you. I'm on HTC 10 android version 7 with latest HTC mail client, no issues so far...

N70%
by N####:

Edit: My initial review was a 3/5, but I'm changing it to a 5/5 because I fixed the image issue (it was a setting that I foolishly turned off in Boost+ to save battery, but I turned it back on and then hit "Show images" in the Mail app upon opening an email, and it works perfectly now) It's a pretty good email application. Smart sync works well, even with the Nougat update, and if it doesn't you can always turn it off. My issue with the application is that inline images seem to be missing. So if I get a promotional email, all of the images are missing and have the broken thumbnail icon, this doesn't happen in the Gmail application and I can't seem to find the setting to enable it.

Ever since my phone updated, been having trouble with notifications even though it's on... nothing comes up on phone unless I actually go into app. Help??

N70%
by N####:

Good, but not great. If there was an option to shrink messages to fit on the screen, as to avoid scrolling around or turning the phone sideways just to read the whole message at once, then this app would be PERFECT!

K70%
by K####:

Does not auto sync unless the app is open on screen. No settings changed and worked before Android 7.0 Nouget upgrade. Having to waste more battery life to have it auto sync is not favorable. Settings, Power, Optimize, disable optimize on HTC mail.

N70%
by N####:

Everything works perfectly on my HTC 10 after I tweaked the battery setting (settings>power>battery optimization, go to 'all apps' then tap Mail, tick Don't optimize). Love it :)

W70%
by W####:

How can I view more than 20 emails? Trying to find an email from a particular sender. Searching by sender finds nothing, even when searching on server

R70%
by R####:

Ever since the Android OS update, the App no longer posts notifications when you receive new mail. You have to open the app in order for it to sync, otherwise it won't do so automatically, despite being set to do so.

G70%
by G####:

Why the f*** is there a checkbox on every single item. Drives me mad, no other email app has it. You can do better.

N70%
by N####:

Why was this pushed to the htc 10 in the most recent firmware update? I thought that htc was no longer putting duplicate apps on their devices. This was a disappointing move.

N70%
by N####:

Ever since the update, this along with everything else is crap. If you want to see myblist of issues, contact me. HTC's response is ZERO! Where is the SENT folder? Why can't I out a gmail acct on here? It defaults and makes you assign to google folder IE: another phone acct. I have noticed almost all new issues are because of Google apps. Of which most use to be great HTC apps. Since HTC is now caving to google, just shows they don't care about customers. The intrusion of Google into our everyday lives, just got worse. They know more about me than my family does. A Google boycott needs to be organized. HTC needs to get back to their foundation that made them the best.

T70%
by T####:

Still have to click on display images every time you open an email, even if you have opened it previously, nowhere is there a check box to automatically show Images. I'll stick with Outlook

N70%
by N####:

Just curious...don't you worry about your client comments, and they are really frustrated without email sync?

N70%
by N####:

This app is extremely unreliable. Emails come in, then disappear... Sometimes while I'm reading them. I just cannot trust it at all. Meeting management is crap too, and contacts from exchange don't seem to sync as well. Just junk.

N70%
by N####:

As all other htc software. Might be even easiest to fully root and delete

N70%
by N####:

Now that Gmail let's us manage accounts from other providers, this app is pointless.
