Updating lock screen with phone encrypted corrupted my data, causing a factory reset.

My phone keeps going into car mode , and the the home button doesn't work

It's broken.. Unlocked my HTC 10 without PIN.

Similar to everyone else. Only problem I can find is that my phone will not read my SD card. It says I have to reinsert it no matter how many times I do it has the same issue.

Why did you remove READ_SYNC_SETTINGS from SystemUI??! It broke my phone! Connected to charge, auto updated. Had notification phone needed reboot because of this update. Got soft brick after boot at blank lock screen flashing. Not happy. I notice now this update is dated 13th March.. did you remove the new update and go back to the old one?

I saw the Update yesterday and I swear, when it said Reboot the Phone I KNEW I shouldn't reboot it. Then I woke up today and the update is gone. I checked here to see what happened with it. but After reading these comments I'm REALLY Happy I didn't Reboot my phone for that update. It would probably be Broke right now.

Cause of this update I had to hard reset my phone TWICE! There was nothing I can do as the phone was having seizure (screen turn on and off with no respond). Seriously losing confidence in every aspect of your products. Been a loyal supporter since HTC P3300 and your latest flagship phone is like a Samsung Galaxy knock off!

What did you do to volume output??? I saw a notification yesterday morning, on my HTC10, that this app had updated and required a reboot of the phone, I didn't have time at that moment - drove to work, listening to music as normal, rebooted my phone when I got to work and when I went out to lunch the volume was so low from the phone that I had to nearly max it out in the car to hear it. Additionally, the alarm still seems to have the original volume level - I was listening to music with the volume all the way up this morning, because you made a terrible decision, and when I snoozed the alarm, the music didn't revert to your new, ridiculously low, volume level immediately - it almost blew out the speakers in my car. Whatever you did to the volume output you must revert NOW. If this debacle blows out the speakers in my car, I'll be billing you for replacement.

Broke my HTC10. After update, phone would boot to stock image for lock screen then flash on and off. Couldn't​ log on, ultimately had to wipe phone and reinstall OS. How does crap like this get released? UPDATE: So now HTC wants me to be an unpaid beta tester apparently. Pass. How about you properly QA your own software before you push out an auto-update that bricks people's phones? Look at the reviews here, this is not an isolated incident. If I had done this when I was a programmer, I would be unemployed. My last three phones were HTCs. Next will not be.

Update made my phone have a melt down. Wouldn't turn on at all. Wasn't responding to holding power/vol button. Eventually turned on and was flashing on and off. Then it started saying 'safe mode' in bottom left screen and wasn't allowing me to do anything. This then lead to overheating and flashing on and off again to the point where I gave up. I left it a few hours then returned to try again. Took out the sim and memory card and tried turning on, it wouldn't so I tried holding power and vol control which eventually turned it on. It was switching itself on and off and saying apps weren't working. Had to reboot the system when it came on to the basic programming menu page but again wasn't fully functioning. Finally seem to have fixed it but all of this has happened because of the update on this app. Not impressed.

Needs accessible personalisation. I have no way to edit this lock screen without enabling sense home and giving it access to my location and private info. I dont use sense home. As a result I get "weather not available, location unavailable" at all times on my lock screen which is very frustrating.

Total POS update... Made my device (HTC M9) completely useless, had to hard reset it to fix it, tried many ways to fix it, even tried to use ADB to push the old working lock screen apk to the phone but even that wouldn't fix the problem. After installing the update all my phone would do is flash the screen on and off and vibrate a bunch of times, during which I could not get the phone to do anything else.

Guys, today's update unfortunately messed up my HTC m8 and I had to hard reset. I'm not updating this up right now until you find the problem. I'm sure of what I say because I had repeated after the first hard reset and figured it out.

This new update seems to have fixed my lockscreen, thanks! The fix: I had my dpi changed on M8 and the clock widget on the lock screen was to the left. Now it's perfectly centered

This update f'd up my phone. I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on until the 10th damn try. Then it started messing with my apps. Worthless update

SUCKS HTC M8 USER HERE AND on the lock screen my shortcut get stuck as much as I try to swipe up they will not go away. This sucks!

Dont update if. You have an m8 it sucks the progtam gets glitch out and you cant acess anything is bullcrap. Please fix your things

Very professional looking lock screen,fast and smooth. I have never had any issues and its still my no.1 lock screen. However it lacks the customisation that's comes with other apps

Hate the new font, let us have the option to switch back to the old one! Having the location in all caps is jarring. Minus an extra star for all the problems other people are having.

This app keeps bricking my phone, involuntarily updating itself to an unstable version which causes my lockscreen to freeze and flash. I've had to restore my phone several times recently to keep it functional... FIX THIS

Various improvements usually doesn't mean totally changing the way look and ease of viewing. Please give us the ability to tweak the layout

I was just searching for a bugfix, because I encountered a very annoying bug, but at that moment, this app got updated and the bug was fixed.

Sent my phone into melt down following a reboot. Had to restore to factory settings to resolve.

Nothing is that different. Maybe words on the thing like stated before. Maybe an option to change the color of stuff. So you could mix all of the colors maybe of the time and stuff.

Could not change lock screen weather type until this update and now works great, thank you.

WTF my HTC 820 is hanging at lock screen and behaving strange.... after updating this app

Bad font size and many text become off screen. Previous version was fine.

I just got this new update on my HTC M9 and it pissed me off because it auto reset while I was typing and I accidently hit the reset when it popped up. But I see that that was my only gripe and I see that it quite literally broke some other people's phones so I'm glad that didn't happen. I see it happened mostly to people with the M8 so that's probably why I'm fine.

I factory reset twice after this update because the phone would not work and the screen kept flashing off and on. Great job HTC

Not as before. No weather on lock screen. Poorly tested before release.

Works great on my HTC 10. No issues & running smooth. Hurry up with the Nougat update for Verizon!

Works fine on my HTC 10 after the March update. Feels no different than before so they must have just applied bug fixes like they said. Nothing bad about this lock screen when using the HTC sense launcher.

I don't know whether to finish updating this on the HTC desire 626. What do people think? Do I update it?

Updated this and also got the flashing lock screen... Update at your own peril.
