hungryhouse Takeaway Delivery

App works well as I can reorder my favourites from my favourite places in 3 mins. But if you try to amend a previous order, there is no way to locate the basket if you move focus away from it, or the restaurant's menu. Also, would like some way to tell which restaurants are open, as sometimes I need to order for delivery at 1 am, and I can't tell which ones are open. Fix both of these then 5* Edit: closed places now shown.

I l.o.v.e. this app.....but, why can I not delete a previous/old order? Ive had to place a new order then return to the bssket and delete items I dont want.... Also, tried changing my card details and it still has not changed. Postcode is not where I live, but found a way to add another address.... why is there no burger king? Still love this app. And it seems to be interfaced better than before.... thanks

Great that you get offers via notification, but how about allowing us to review the notifications? I receive them while I'm in work, but then by the time I get home to discuss what to order with my partner, the notification disappears, never to be seen again. Really gutting when, like today, you get a 20% off notification, only to not get it when you come to ordering

Saturday evening my 1st order and wrong :/ food with so much salt, part of it didn't arrived. Try to spoke with guy life chat but he just told me we will refund yours money and switch off chat with me. If will be 0 will rate it with 0

ordered food and they took card payment but no food arrived!!! Next day app said "account balance" with the price of food not delivered. When I went back Into app balance was not there!!! Absolutely a joke!! Making a complaint as that is theft. Never order from this app again!! And all my family a day friends have uninstall it.

The app has improved so much over the last year! The number of restaurants has gone up by far and the interface has become nice and responsive. This has now overtaken Uber eats and just eat, as my go to takeaway app. Great work!

I think it is a terrible site and service. Starts off well by showing all the search options. BUT that is all it does. - Does not provide any updates on delivery - No contact with restaurant not even a number. Have to go on Google to get it separately - online chat help said .....12 people waiting to be served WOW...talk about prehistoric - ZOMATO provides all the above and exact status on delivery without asking. But why should we learn from our competitors. - Uninstalling ......

Generally an awesome app. One dark cloud on my otherwise brilliant, azure-like horizon... a glitch on the payment section where i could not, it seems - pay by card, paypal.. or in fact any manner of reimbursement for services-proffered other than cold, hard.. yes, even dirty cash. which resulted more than once in my going to bed hungry. Yes, i demand my due, paying-customer, alotted dose of sympathy. thankyou

They just sent my order to an address I had 2 years ago. Helpdesk was trying to tell and prove me I'm wrong, luckily I kept my receipt. Apparently there are no refunds when they do mistakes due to bugs. Also, no complaint procedure in place, was asked to sent an email to a generic email. Probably the worst customer experience ever.

Only issue I've had is sometimes you can't pick multiple items at the same time. Say you want bbq and chilli sauce you need to pick them one at a time. Annoying with large orders.

Very poorly designed app but excellent idea and I guess at least the thing works. How hard can it be to write good code and design a good UI for such a simple app, though? It has improved a lot now; updated from two stars to four.

Not the best. Food is ok, service could be a bit better. I have always requested to close my gate properly in the order text or to their face when they leave. but half the time it's left open with the wind Bending the latch overnight and my dog runs straight out in the morning

Been using things since it was in beta. Makes life so much easier and I can contact hungry house to deal with issues on orders without me having to call anyone. Huge plus

The delivery times are confusing. If its between two times to give a range for descrepency. That would be fine but having 3 different times being sent to me was confusing .

First time using the app. Read the reviews for a place that made it seem great which in retrospect were clearly false. Wrong food arrived. Chicken was disgusting, fries tasted of nothing at all, and the rest was just dog food. Wanted to rate the place but have found I'm unable to rate. Marvellous. Suspicious that ratings don't work and all I see are fake positive ratings.

I like it as it saves shouting down the phone to a busy kitchen but i don't like the way restaurants don't show the same offers they have on the leaflet menu so we get ripped off if you don't have a leaflet and ring sorry it's just wrong

Finds local takeaways but you cannot contact them if there is an issue with your order. Sad!

So annoyed. Ordered food, payment went through. And I was billed. The onlybstep they seem to forget was the actual food. Never using this again and would not suggest

Simple to use. Food is more expensive but that's how they cover delivery and paying hungry house percentage cut I guess. Great for lazy People like me.

The app is working fine all good been user for 4 years. Some time the restaurant that mess the order or late arrival. Other than that its great.

Great app. So easy to use and a brilliant idea if half the family want pizza and half want a curry. Saves all the messing about and chance of mistake ordering over the phone.

Missing location of driver. Can't follow and track order, your order time is a guess and does not update and you have no idea where the order is. Better apps are available, Uber eats and deliveroo.

Great App easy to use and no need to keep takeaway menus. I have been using this App for a while now. You always have an email to tell you what is happening with your order. My orders have never been late so far.

Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should be intruding on my notification bar with your pushy adverts. These are not notifications and they are intrusive and unsolicited.

App said I would get my order at 20:38. 25 mins later, I am still waiting. Also, food should be labelled if suitable for vegans.

Getting menus wrong so ordered something only to get called saying they dont do what i ordered so paid for what i ordered to only be offered smaller pizza

Great for take away in a hurry! Remember, Hungry House (UK) are the broker, as soon as the restaurant accepts the order its in the hands of the restaurant. If your food is late it's the restaurants responsibility to update you as a customer, if your order never arrives Hungry house will call the restaurant and will refund you. Used the customer serves and they were fantastic! I highly recommend!

Most convenient way of ordering good in the UK. Better than the other apps out there. Should try and get some of the bigger chains out there. Pity McDonald's is with uberEats.

Easy to use like making a house in a wilderness and not to mention the salad that comes with every order. I love ❤ this app because I don't need to leave my flat to earn money like it's hot, money like it's hot. Keep up the good work and more earnings and profits to come from a galaxy far, far away….

Can never find anything. Have to start from beginning when searching for takeaways. Hate it. What happened to just eat

App works well. Tap the glass bit of your handheld communicator a few times, and a human arrives with a feast at your front door. Incredible.

Does what it says on the tin. Easy to navigate. Saves past orders for creatures of habit. Would like to see a return of special discounts every now and again.

"BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN" I would recommend this restaurant. The service was very gud & delicious foods r well presented overall the food is very tasty & I would like to go there for further hangout

I tried to order off this app twice and both times i had my order cancelled. The first time due to them calling me once when i was busy and just decided to not deliver. The second time they just cancelled it within 10mins and they didnt even call to confirm the order!! They blocked me!! Just ridiculous

Very useful app, especially when you find yourself hungry and too tired to cook. Offers a variety of restaurants, some of which are open until the early morning hours.

Would rate lower if I could. Use the app twice and both times have not received what I payed for. Either items missing or wrong items sent and each time drivers have just left. I work nights and often eat take away die too this Hungry House is a disappointment and I will not be using them further whatsoever

Never had a problem with the app itself over the years, been using it frequently! Easy to navigate and use. I'd like it to be easier to delete old cards and amend addresses etc. on the app, but other than that it's perfect :)

This app has improved massively, the only thing I can say is be aware of where you order from, some of the places can be rude, this isn't the fault of "hungry house" but they should get rid of places that are rude
