This app took my order at 730pm for pick up at 8pm then changed the time to 11am the next day. When I got to the store they told me that seems to shut down 45 minutes before store closing . That's fine but they should really put in a warning. Then to make matters worse the store refused to honor my coupon or order. Terrible app and service.
UPDATE: Can't order anymore. Won't login, keeps giving an error telling me to call support. Can't use my coupon codes. Support sorted it, worked for a day and now it's broken again. Bummed! Love Papa Murphy's buy this blows, super inconvenient.
I tried repeatedly to log into my account with this app but always got an error message that the password was incorrect. I used the same login and password to successfully log into the web program on a desktop computer. The app cannot access my Papa Murphy's account, which makes it useless.
I have worked in tech long enough to recognise when a conscious decision was made by management to release an app that will screw their customers out of discounts. Don't just uninstall it, don't do business with these jerks.
Clumsy and doesn't show specials at store, nor did it take the online ordering discount. Why go through all that when I can just order at the store and walk out with what I wanted in 3 minutes. Uninstalled after trying to use two times.
I've eaten their pizza any time I can. But you charge my card the second I order (should be when I pick it up). Your coupon codes are not in app and a pain in the butt to find online. All your coupons are for "In Store". So if using a coupon you have to go in. I don't care if u honor it once I enter store, if you charge me for it when I order hours before, using this app! And since I have to pick it up and you have a find store via zip code option, why do I need to allow location GPS? You aren't delivery.
The app seems straightforward, and tasks like customizing your pizza are easy to accomplish, but you can't log in. I tried multiple times and each time got an ambiguous error message. I tried checking out as a guest, and it took my order, but never charged my card or sent the order to my local store. That pretty much makes it a useless app.
Shortly after installing it is started getting tons of spam. I don't know if it's related or not. App it's self is blah. Best feature is you can get the phone number but there are better ways of doing that.
Programmed by incompetents. Let me see, how can I drive my customers away? Ah, I've got it! Create a mobile app that forces them to remember a complete security question and the answer to reset a password. Don't include a real recovery feature because they won't ever forget one of the dozens of passwords they have, and, because this is the most important app in their universe, the will always have the exact security question and answer for most in their minds.
It won't let me add payment information. With a company this large, you'd think they could get a simple point of sale app working correctly. Sad!!!
Ordered a pizza. The pickup time it gave me was 45 minutes away. Got there in 30 minutes. No pizza. Store was EMPTY. Had to wait while they found the order in the 'new system' and start my pizza. Was actually slower than just driving down there and ordering it. 10/20: Second try. Gives me a pick up time 1 hour 40 min from now. Can't even order. Giving up. Was going to downgrade my previous review. Can't go lower than one star. :( Hey Papa Murphy's: What ever you paid for this app, it was too much. Fire the vendor and fire the guy who hired them and go out and get someone who knows what they are doing.
It's kind of at the beta release phase, still has many reliability issues. Only saving grace is that they do make a good pizza
It would not accept my password that I use on their website. I reset my password using both the app and the website. Still couldn't get in using the app. I guess I'll stick with ordering from the website. How can you let a poor app go out to the public?
TL;DR: it's crap, don't bother. I downloaded this app, but I have yet to be able to log in. I am an Android App Developer, with a successful app on the market, and I would be terribly ashamed to have put this one out there. it didn't offer to have me log in! But the menu has a log in option, so I clicked it. It said: "You have logged out of this account!" No, I just tried to log in on the first install. So then I went to the menu and tried again. First, it has no option to show my password, so I can't tell if I put in the right one. Also, it kept telling me my credentials were no good. I was logged into their website at the time, so I logged out of it. Then, on the Android app, instead of telling me my credentials were bad, it simply said it had errors and I should contact technical support. To the Applications Manager and forced stopped it. Then I restarted it, and now it won't let me check on of the boxes saying I agree to terms and conditions. And, BTW, no way should I have to agree to both Papa Murphy's and the app developers terms, separately. Uninstall, re-installed, reinstalled. No Joy.
Previously ordered two Cowboys family sized no black olives and pineapple. Cost $34. Reorder cost $32. Just ordered one family size 2 cowboy no black olives add pineapple in-store. Cost less than $14. The apps prices should not be more than the in-store prices.
Will stick with wrong crust and need to be restarted to allow for a change, the ingredients list doesn't allow for extra cheese, and doesn't have jalapeños. It's nice that you can put ingredients on half a pie, but the fact that it didn't apply the discount for $10 Tuesday (and the lady at the counter said that many people that night were mad at her because of it). Since they only allow $10 Tuesday for online orders, they should make sure their online order system actually applies the discount! Shameful!
I really can't understand why the order can't be placed right away. This is the first time I've used this app & it made me schedule the pick up time out 45 minutes. Seriously? It took me 5 minutes to get to the store & she had to force release my order & there wasn't anyone else in there. Ridiculous!!!
I thought I had lost my sanity until I started reading the reviews. My login works online but the app keeps telling me my login and password is incorrect. I have reviewed it with my login on the web multiple times, the problem is the APP!. Do not bother downloading
I keep ordering Xtra cheese and when I pick up they say I didn't order it but price higher than just the pizza. I also order a salad which Is not ready, people are not very friendly not a big difference in walk in.
For apps that can't remember by username and/or password i have no use for you. Going to the website is faster. Chrome knows me.
I am an employee of Papa Murphy's, as well as a graphic/web design student, so when I heard a customer complaining about how terrible our app was ("We have an app?") I was immediately intrigued. I have two suggestions: -Make a navigation menu or something on the top near the page name/cart, or at least a back button. Yes, you could just use the back button on the phone, but that is not always intuitive. -Different payment options would be wonderful and solve many of the issues people are having. This would of course require employees to be trained to pay attention to who used which payment, but it seems like a small trade-off for better customer service. -Be more informative about some of our products. I noticed that with Mini Murphs the app says nothing about how you can get more than just cheese or pepperoni (though honestly that may just be a franchise thing, I have no idea). There is a lot of potential for this that just needs to be refined.
Uninstalled & reinstalled phone app, still can't log in. Web app is no better, login OK but get "trouble reaching the store". (Not just today, neither has worked for weeks).
Knocking it two stars for not having a cash at store option like the other pizza joints. Easy to use app though
This app world be perfect if it let me use my gift card as a payment method. I had my order all ready to go but then I had to call it in anyway...

These people have no clue whst they are doing. You can't use the same email address you use in the web site to reguster. They claim the app and web need are not connected but they are at the email address. Stupid! Also, 2 out of 3 order attempts to order fail and I have to call anyway. Crazy
Placed orders twice using the app, both times the store said they never received the payment that I paid through the app. Had to pay at the store. The employee was clearly embarrassed. Just going to pay with cash next time.
Rip me off by charging more than in the store and then I do l still had to wait for it to be made after the set order pickup time.
Had issues with logging in, as it seems many others have. Can't use "deals" like you can on website. This app was utterly worthless when I thought it would save me some time.
Constantly getting an error when simply trying to log in: "Something went wrong..." The app is worthless.
Why keep sending out "Online Specials" when you cannot even get your app to work?? Never hear back from Tech Support, I'm thinking they don't exist.
I have no problem accessing my account on the Web but the app told me I had the wrong email or password even though I didn't, uninstalling.

Many bugs and app accounts are not linked to website accounts.
You can drive to your location faster than using this app.
