My experience with MOVO was top of the line. The app is well made. The idea is very intuitive. The team working behind the app are just... Wow. A+ customer service and a wonderful product. If your looking for free mobil banking and modernized, safe & secure account handling this is the ones to go with. I can't recommend them enough. For the negative reviews on here, I don't get it. The MOVO team always responded to me quickly if I had questions. They ask a few questions to verify your identity and it seems some have had problems with that. Of this is the case, call them up or email theM. THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU!

Well, it's almost impossible to get your money out. I get different answers each time I call. Customer support wants to either answer a question I didn't ask, talk over and interrupt me, or tell me, "I'm sorry for your frustrations." As soon as I get all my money out, whenever that may be, I'm done. It's like they're holding my money hostage!

Garbage app. Closed my account in only a day after adding my bank. Was choosing between chime & Movo and made a gastly mistake choosing. Guess i'm going to look elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Movo. -10 rating for me. Even 1/2 a star would be too good a rating.

Successfully created an account, then linked and verified a checking account. Two days later logged in to transfer money into Movo account and status showed as "blocked due to fraud". It has been over a week and no communication from Movo as to why account was blocked or how to unblock and nothing in the app either. I'm just very grateful I discovered how incompetent they are before I transferred money to them.

Update: The CEO contacted me personally because of the issues I've had. He was very prompt and helpful in addressing all of my issues and concerns. Customer service is very important to this company. Recently, I have had zero issues with the application. Previous Review: I had nothing but issues with this app and account. I've tried loading the card with my debit card, but that didn't work. I contact customer support and receive an email right away saying that debit card loads are temporarily not working and that I can load the account via ReadyLink. I tried loading my card at a ReadyLink location and that didn't work. I called customer service and they informed me that my card was not setup for ReadyLink. That's weird because the card says ReadyLink on it and customer support sent me an email saying I can load the card via ReadyLink. I tried loading card with my bank account; now I receive an email saying my account have been flagged and suspended by risk prevention for loading card with my bank account. Also that once verified it can take 5 business days for my funds to be available. That's odd because the app FAQ says 3 business days. It sad that I have to verify who I am again, after doing so with customer service and being in contact with customer support through email. It's disappointing to have to go through this just to load the card.

Well, I opened this account because I wanted a card to conveniently pay my bills mostly, I thought that was awesome to offer a virtual card instead of or in addition to a physical card, however upon review of the features I noticed no debit or credit or PayPal load option...so I called and spoke with a very nice gentleman who confirmed those services are not available at this time and he had no ETR. I think it is fairly easy to place a message on a website or app to advise customers or potential customers of any upcoming features as well as outages...your company may want to look into that. Transparency and honesty goes a longer way than bait & switch.

Just signed up today so still have questions. Do i have to put money on my account before i get a physical card? How do i obtain my physical card. I am basically looking for a prepaid card that is cash loadable at a physical store. I work in the service industry so i rarely get a paycheck. I live off my tips. Most cards i have found online the only way to load is through direct deposit. I dont mind having my paycheck deposited onto my card. However, most of my paychecks are for $0.00 . All the prepaids you can aquire in a retail location have ridiculous loading fees and monthly fees. The fee schedule on this card appears to be the best offer out there for someone in my situation. ( i use to have a prepaid, cash loadable visa w/ Bee and it was everything i was looking for. Unfortunately they no longer exist) If this card is anything like the Bee card then i will be changing my rating to 5 stars.

I've been using this app to receive payments from clients in my consultancy for about 4 months. Movo is secure and quick. I typically see payments in my Movo account in 12 to 48 hours. At that point, I transfer to my bank account, which takes 24 hours. Faster than most other options and my clients appreciate the ease of use. I'd highly recommend this app to professionals as well as regular folks.

I signed up for this because I wanted to make online purchases safely without using my main credit card. Turns out the only way to fund it is via bank and there's no way I'm going through that hassle. I was under the impression I would also be able to fund it from Bitcoin, but that's not an option either.

You make it very difficult to add money. You cannot add money from a debit card! You really need a check or checking account. I have a checking account but it has a card. So honestly why would someone need your card unless they do not have a check or checking account.No way would I deposit my government check into an app that has a 3.8 rating if anyone else does they either very unitelligent or just don't care about there money.Also waiting 3 days after I deposit a check to use the money is lame.Conveince would be better just get you another prepaid card spend the $3.95 fee to add the money and be done. There is not one feature about this app that makes practical sense. It's not desirable and seems very betel at best. The thing that worries me the most is that you guys just might have people add there money and you pull the app. Then you know what have fun getting your money back. You released app way too soon it has so much potential but it's simply not ready. Sadly it's too late and now you will have to repair what went wrong. Thing is can you eventually repair all these mistakes. Maybe maybe not anyway Uninstalled.And if anyone reads this has any intelligence at all please do the same. Because I really think you'll be sorry to continue to use something that just isn't ready for people's hard earned money. Maybe people should pay more attention to the life lock commercials if they did noone would put a dime into your service.

Needs some tweeking but overall does almost all of what I need. Almost. Checks. Checks. Checks. Family still sends personal checks and I don't want 6 apps on my phone just to mange my money. We need to cash check and cash them cheap. Especially checks for smaller ($150 and below maybe) amounts.

The Experience is different from other bank cards. I had trouble using it at first but the personal responses were quite welcome. I wanted to put $50 on the card a a RiteAid store and the Cashier had no clue, but wanted to charge 10% fee. I scheduled notices but can't get rid of them. It's comfortable knowing how much I have but not all the time.

I chose this card because of the name. It's a cool upbeat name. The problem I have with this card is that I have to control and count how many times I use the card daily because they only allow five transaction a day. I use the card mostly to pay my bills online and I have plenty of bills to pay. So when they go through to be paid my card becomes insufficient funds because the time frame it goes through. Which means I have reached my five transactions a day. Even though one day I have only used it three times in that day. I then have to pay the card and the company I paid my bill to an extra late fee. I then end up with less money in my pocket then I expected. What gives MOVO the right to tell how and when I get to spend my money.

OK 1st off I love The entire concept by movo.cash however after receiving my card I been unable to activate it. I was under the impression that I can load it with bitcoin, however that is not the case. I have twelve prepaid debit cards of all brands and I could not load the card with those either. Every time I try to reach out to Support via mobile I get a frequently asked question infinite loop. I am highly involved in the fintech / crypto industry. I would love to hear from you guys on how you could be the KillerApp 2017 ! In fact Im interested in helping to explode the movo.cash concept. Do you need some VC love ? If so I can help , if no is this a ALPHA and beta TESTER app ?

Unable to load my card using a my debit, credit, or prepaid card. I've heard that then disabled debit loads and will re-enable soon but no word on this yet.

They mailed me my card activated it, I transferred funds to my Movo account. Then Movo decides they want to verify my Identity and suspend my account and is holding my funds.. UPDATE... TODAY IS MARCH 20TH.. THEY ARE LIARS THEY HAVENT UNLOCKED OR FIXED MY ACCOUNT LIKE THEY STATE IN TB THEIR POST ON HERE !!! THEY ARE STILL HOLDING MY MONEY AND REFUSING TO UNLOCK MY CARD OR ACCOUNT.... HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MOVO TO ANYONE...

They won't verify you even after sending valid identification as requested. No communication or support whatsoever. EDIT: Shortly after my review, a rep reached out in email and the CEO himself offered assistant on Facebook. And, after getting past a few other odd obstacles with syncing up a bank for transfers, everything seems to be working well. Much thanks for the help!

App doesn't work when WiFi is ON. When i disable WiFi and use cell network, it connects. This is weird and annoying. Its happens on all my phones, nexus5x, Galaxy Nexus, motoE.
