IBM Cognos Mobile

The app does not seem to work with cognos analytics 11.0.5. on adding the server, it seems to be opening the web view of the application

Application drill through doesn't seem to work at all. Furthermore, there doesn't seem to be a way to get notifications when a new report is available, even if it scheduled to be delivered to my mobile device. Making functionality like this available on one platform (iOS) and not on Android cripples these features, since most organizations are now BYOD and both platforms must be supported.

I tried creating a simple area visualization in active report. When i run it in browser, it worked. But there's error message when i accessed it through cognos mobile. To make it clear, what i tried was creating a column visualization with client render method. Everytime i touched my screen, there's error message. And then i tried creating another visualization with server render method and it didnt return any error. Is that a bug or is it just me who need to read more? If it's a bug, please fix it. Thx

I am unable to run reports from this app. But I can able to run active reports. When I tried to run HTML reports I am getting error as " unable to run the report. Contact your administrator." I am using android os, even in apple phone. Please suggest me with the solution. That would be great help. -- thanks

After installing the cognos mobile app, unable to execute any reports from the app. is there a work around or solution fro this.

Finally have access to the sex and sizzle of modern dashboarding from my android. Keep up the good work mobile team!

Took a while for IBM to release this for android but it's finally here and I cannot perform my job effectively without it anymore. Words cannot describe how powerful it is to be able to access data when needed. Request: Please add android wear support for event studio notifications! That will be awesome!

Hi, I would like to edit my previous review.. The latest client-side update did wonders and my reports render perfectly now! Thank you for all the hard work, 5 stars for the Cognos Mobile team!!

Looks like this is a known issue. Is there a fix planned for this ? will it ever work on this tablet?

I am trying to access the cognos samples via this app but none of the sample works on Note3. Is there any prerequisite ?

This is good app, but having issues with samples, never gets downloaded. Also still issue with non cgi gateway.

Hi, I have an instance of Cognos Mobile Server 10.2.1 installed, but I am unable to view any reports. I am able to open and view the prompts from my Cognos Server, but reports does not render.. I am using Note 10.1 2014 version.. Please help!!

Works great. The zoom is a bit weird, but that could be how I have my reports formatted.

Unfortunately there is no option to open an active report (.mht file) that is stored locally on the device. On an ipad when you try and open a .mht file from an email, or in safari you get the option to open the file in cognos. The android version is missing an intent filter to give you the option to open mht files in cognos.

Love being able to access my reports on the go.

Works just as well as on ipad. The benefit here is it can be used on a tablet or a phone as opposed to just the tablet for apple. Great benefit for disconnected usage.

Crashes my Gmail then phone reboots on samsung galaxy S3. Same on two others.

On a Samsung galaxy s 4, installing this app causes android system/Gmail to crash when opening New emails from the notification bar. I have had some issues zooming on some samples. Otherwise fine.
