iBOLT Dock'n Drive

Screen dims all the time. No matter what setting i use in the app or the phone. I hit night mode to keep the images from burning in my screen like it did with my last phone. When i come off noght mode i dims the screen to a level that is unuseable even at night. I want my screen bright due to my eye issues! If this cant be resolved I will uninstall the app.

This used to be my favorite app. But now none of the settings work. Sad.

Just awesome and very light. Never fails. Ok Google command though is not drawing up front whatever settings I may try to change.

I like it, only criticism I have is it needs to auto rotate, not just rotate for the actual maps. Make it so.

By far the best app for using in your car. Ive used it all over Europe and the US and it always works and allows the user to configure the use and the apps to use. Way better than the Google car app that can not even be used on a google based phone.

The only problem with this is that I can't get rid of the icon from my phone display. I have to keep moving it around to see stuff.

App prevents using OK Google in Oreo on Pixel 2 XL, even if the relevant checkbox is enabled in the app's settings. Beta did not resolve.

Great app for an excellent phone holder. Both work well; holder stays on even on bumpy roads and in hot weather. Easy to insert and remove phone. App has a nice clear design. Sadly "OK Google" voice commands aren't working. Obviously a drawback for a car app but Google Assistant still works by pressing the GA icon. Wish the audio output worked with the supplied cable but that's Google's fault. Overall iBOLT design team should be proud. Highly recommended piece of kit. Tks. :)

I love this app and use it on a daily basis, but since I got my google pixel xl I've been having trouble with calls when the app is on, the phone would ring but the call won't be displayed on screen and same problem when trying to make a call, the call would go through but again nothing is displayed on screen, when i close the app everything goes back to normal. I hope there would be a fix for this bug soon, i would hate it if I'll have to look for another app cos i absolutely love this one and have been using it for two years straight day in and day out.

I used this app for about a year. Eventually saw a burn in where the clock sits. I was told to try amolded tool but nothing happened. I tried other apps but did not like. I'm back because it's already burned in and I like the app. It was a choice I made. Update 5-4-2017. Have a new phone and another burn in. I will no longer use this app.

Droid turbo 2, 32g. Was my favorite dock app, but Nougat update made stuff "chunky" and chunked out function buttons, and removed "recent" button completely. Let me know when it's fixed please.

I use this app daily either in my car or on my motorcycle and it works perfectly. Large easy to read display and very convenient shortcuts.

The compass and speed part does not work. I have a Samsung s7 edge and it just does not work.

However, this morning, my Samsung Edge S7 phone had an Android update, and ever since it did, the USB charging port has somehow become corrupted when I plug the USB charger for the iBolt into the charging port on my phone. I get a pop-up that says that there is moisture in the charging port and that I need to unplug the charger and clean the port out. I've already done that three times now, and all my other chargers work fine.

This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. I love the one touch hook up. Works in all my vehicles. I use it for my speedometer on my motorcycle. I love the "It can wait" feature and set the reply text to whatever is appropriate. I even use the app in business meeting to silence text msg "dings", and auto reply. Thanks iBolt!

This used to be an awesome house but the crashes all the time now so I'm getting rid of it

My phone updated the software and now the ibolt won't launch automatically. I have also don't have the floating icon any longer. I have uninstalled then reinstalled and still no luck. Ugh. *****update***** I MUST use the android car mode in order for the app to work correctly.

Installed this with the iBolt mount for my BlackBerry PRIV, was excited to start using it, but whenever this app is open, the red led blinks, and since I have the phone mounted within my peripheral vision it is so distracting I can't use it. Can't find a way to shut off led for this app either.

The app worked great with 5.xxx but on my new Moto Z Force running 6.0 many of the key features do not work. Will not send calls to phone speaker, choosing app icon does not work and issues with the NFC on and off.

Sweeeet! I see you all use my idea, when the inter the car dock charging it pops up.

Hi so I was reading some reviews as since I upgraded my phone auxiliary no longer works. Thought it was my cable or auxiliary port. But looks like option is removed on Samsung s6. Do we know of a work around. As this was the whole reason I bought the cable and dock, and use this app.

Works great, a little clunky though, and the speedometer and location settings don't work offline, so if you have no data those don't work

Try several applications, this one was the, best, only issue besides google Navigation crash, is once I select a short cut I dont see any way to change or delete it, good work! Got response via email, Thanks! shortcuts issue ok now, Navigation not crashing anymore!

BUG REPORT: I have a Samsung Edge 7 and after roughly 20 minutes the application closes on its own. I'm using the NFC dongle behind the phone, and I don't hear the chime for it disconnecting.

My Navigation was not responding when in Car Mode. Uninstalled Maps updates, then reinstalled. Everything works again. Thanks for the quick response.

It's a pretty good app and user friendly with a couple of hic-ups. 1) Seems like when I've used the app my phone doesn't want to sleep even after the app is closed 2) pretty sure this is an issue with the ibolt dock but it's very touchy now and won't always play music though the the car hook up and plays through the phone speaker

Has slots for features but dies not let you choose what you want for those slots except for 1 slot. Speedometer is inaccurate by 20 km. Hopefully they improve features or I will uninstall. UPDATE ibolt rep says move phone close to windshield for better gps function. I dont want to cook my phobe in summer or winter. Other apps have no issues using my phone gps accurately so will not use that option. It is only good for opening apps with a tap.

Why is it that when I add a Google maps shortcut and open it, it takes me to the driving mode of Google maps and not the actual app? If I wanted the driving mode I would add that shortcut instead. This is very annoying because in the driving mode of Google maps there's no way to change the route options.

Won't work after Android 6.0 update on Droid Turbo 2. Reinstalled but stops working. Updates are frustrating for both developers & users. Hope there's a fix soon.

Awesome dock. Very configurable. Starts and stops when connection to car is made our broke. I never travel without it. Highly recommended even if you don't have an ibolt dock.
