About Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking has been designed for people who wish to wean themselves off cigarettes over time, or for those that want to quit immediately.

If you quit smoking immediately then you will still be shown all the relevant data as below, you just won't have any targets to meet.

The main purpose of Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking however is for those that wish to wean themselves off cigarettes. You will be presented with a daily target to accomplish, based on how many cigarettes you initially smoked. Slowly, but surely your daily targets will drop, until after thirty days you will have a target of zero cigarettes.

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking will log all your data and let you know whether you are ahead or behind target and by how much.

Only three questions are asked on initial launch:-
- How many cigarettes you smoked each day.
- How many cigarettes are in a pack.
- How much does each pack cost.

Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking will log the following details each day:-
- Money Saved so far.
- Money Spent so far.
- Time since your last cigarette.
- Days since you started.
- Cigarettes Smoked so far.
- Cigarettes Avoided so far.
- Time Saved so far.
- Time Wasted so far.

The following details are also recorded (based on how many cigarettes you initially smoked prior to using the Kick the Habit: Quit Smoking app):-
- Cigarettes smoked per day, week, month, year.
- Time wasted per day, week, month, year.
- Cost per day, week, month, year.

Graphical and Log Data is also presented on the Chart page, showing the amount of cigarettes smoked versus your daily targets.
Also shows your overall progress: whether you are ahead or behind your set targets.

You can share your progress chart on Facebook. This can help with encouragement from friends and family.

You can delete your progress at any time and start again with new details from the Options page.

The logging of data still occurs even after the daily targets have ended. Come back to the app months/years in future and your savings etc will all still be updating.

Now is the time to quit smoking. It's not just a New Year's Resolution or Stoptober.

This is great for tracking how much you smoke, but I would have given it 5 stars if it let you pick over how many days you'd like to cut down. 30 was too few for me. I'm cutting down, but not at this rate. I keep having to start it over.

Great app that helps the motivated quitter. Could use an option for half cigarettes. It would be nice to see stats for personal health gains while a quitting. But overall, I am pleased with this app.

Well I think it's one of the better apps. But it could add a bit more info.CO2 level, heart rate returns to normal etc. But overall it helps you reduce your habit if you follow it. Not bad. Keep up the good work.

I have tried a lot of other apps..I've smoked over 18 years and really trying to quit along with the app I'm using champix. This app is very simple and it shows you just how much your really smoking not just daily but monthly.. Yearly..... it really opens your eyes at just how much your hurting not only your body but also your bank account.... This app is highly recommended!!!!

It's a great app I agree with the comment below that it would help if there's a widget so you don't have to open it every time that you smoked a cigarette. I also think it would help if you could input about how often you smoke a cigarette from day one and it slowly pushes you to wait longer and longer. Other than that very helpful easier than trying to remember how many and how long it's been since the last one. Started on it over a pack a day and I've been down to about 7 cigarettes in the first week

I like this app alot. I would add a timer for time spent smoking instead of using an average of for minutes because I'm a slow smoker

I wish you could edit days in the past b/c I count the cigs in my pack 1st thing in the morning, and sometimes I realize I forgot to track a couple cigarettes. Otherwise, it's perfect. I like that it's very simple and straight forward.

Just downloaded this app and it is exactly what I wanted without what I didn't need. It tracks what you smoke and when, helps you cut back, and doesn't collect a lot of personal data. It let's you see how much you're spending and saving and puts your cigarette usage in a neat little graph for you to be able to see your progress. This app is a perfect fit for me and anyone else who wants something simple, noninvasive, and user friendly.

It's really good.. It's helping me quit.. I give maself 5 stars for the WILL and then with help of this apps.. Actually somehow its working.. I tried everything. GUMS. Pills and what not.. But Now I am quiter..
