FINALLY!!!! They fixed this app and it works great. Now it syncs the time from my phone to the device. I travel across country in my RV and since I'm always changing time zones it's nice to not have to change the clock every time I set up. Thanks !

Finally, the two most annoying bugs are fixed: the second sensor temperature showing as more than 3K degrees Celsius and 255 degrees instead of 0 when crossing freezing point (now those points are not shown on graph).

Reading the manual on how to connect makes it work perfectly! You just have to keep pressing the up arrow button on the device before clicking on "connect". This is to enter pairing mode! Then a pop-up menu appears and you select the channel of the sensor(upper left number on the screen). Works on my Sony Xperia Z5 Compact with latest software!

Poor effort. No pairing at all. Reset after reset. Tested on 3 Galaxy devices and two iphones. Worst app I've tried in years. If there was an option for zero stars i would take it.

then failed to connect ever again. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, with no change. Going to bluetooth settings and trying to pair manually gets 'couldn't pair with IDTW211R because of incorrect PIN or passkey'.

Finally I sorted out the connection problem. It is hidden in the phrase "Enable the pair up mode on main unit. The connection indicator will flash on LCD" - now my unit is Bluetooth enabled. Press the up arrow to get the 'pair up mode'

Super buggy - need to refresh 2-3 times before I can see the temperature. It will not automatically sync the time (with the option turned on). Once I deleted the station by mistake and could not connect it anymore until I removed the station's batteries and reinserted it. Tested on LG G4 PS. I also have an iPhone and it works perfectly on the IOs. Oregon, please fix the android version as well! Also make a Windows OS version. If I could connect my PC to the weather station then this would be SUPER usefull! Most modern PCs have Bluetooth already...

Initially it paired on first attempt, worked for 4 days and then it would no longer read data from base station. Cleared cache/data/reinstalled the app. Finally, taking out the battery from base station and pairing it again helped, but only for a few days. Then it stopped working. Repeated the steps above, worked for perhaps 2 days, then it stopped. Now nothing helps. It would not read the data - shows "loading" for about 10 seconds, empty screen afterwards. (RAR213HG. Moto G, Android 5.1)

Galaxy Note 4s... App will not even try to BT pair. I spent the extra money for the Bluetooth RAR213HG Temp/Humidity model. I should have known better. I've fought with Oregon Scientific stuff before.

This app is very poorly designed. Very difficult to pair. Needs complete rewriting. When connected and outside temperature near 0 app shows 255 degrees!!? App idea good but app not ready for release!!

C70%
by C####:

The app successfully paired however I keep getting an anomaly each day of 255 degrees making my daily range use less also the chart day views don't correspond to the correct 24hr period. Could also do with time stamps on the entries. Needs more robust app with better features.. come on Oregon seems like we've been sold a product with features that cannot be met.. update or rewrite app !!

Since the most recent update, the graphs no longer show up. Just get an empty box where the graph should be on my HTC 10. Please fix!

When I first got my unit, I hoped they would fix the problems. They have done nothing at all. Now each Android update makes this work less than it did. Look for a different system that gets support.

Bought this as a present. Undoxed and installed the batteries, downloaded the app and all was looking promising. The Bluetooth function worked well first time on my Galaxy note 4. Also on the Moto G4. 5 minutes later nothing. Could not get either phone to work with this device. Tried and tried. Spent a good hour on it. Reset, batteries out, reset, uninstalled app. Nothing. Then read the reviews, lots of folk having same issue. Now it's boxed up again and being sent back to Amazon. Rubbish piece of kit.

My temperature graph shows readings of 254 degrees Celsius. Like, real spikes. It appears to happen somewhere between +1 and -1 degrees. Bluetooth connection works OK after an initial successful setup, which may sound easy but can be a hassle. Overall, just another half-ass app just to be able to advertise the product as having a mobile app.

The programmer is lazy!!!! I had a System update recently to mobil android 6.0.1 and now it will not display graphs. The current android font display on graphs is tiny and hard to read. Should be a system option to change fonts on graphs. Otherwise current and previous versions work well on my Samsung android phones, until a recent system update. Don't buy it for its Bluetooth ability!!

Using an LG G Pad running 4.4.4 and it connects 95% of the time but...always shows 'Partly Cloudy' regardless of what's on the base station. Can only connect to one device although this isn't the end of the world. Really looks like a first effort that needs a serious update to stop it looking like a college project. Now only connecting 75% of the time. Regularly records the daily high temperature as 255C. Have noticed that it records the lowest pressure to one tenth but not the high. Poor.

Works very well for me. I do not believe the many poor ratings are justified. It would be great if one could connect more than one mobile device at a time. Overall I am very satisfied.

Connected right up to my LG G2 running 5.0.2. Sensor 2 does say 5930 °F currently in the history area but the graph and min/max are right. * High temperature today was 489 °F. Not acceptable. ** No response from the company. This product has been abandoned. *** You have to tap Connect in the app BEFORE setting the thermometer to Pair. **** History stopped working. ***** App stopped graphing.

Ok all you guys who seem to have a problem with pairing: thats your phone that has a problem not the software!! I paired my LG G4 in 5 seconds and it pairs everytime. Please check your phones guys!!!! The problem is only one: the sync only shows partly cloudy whereas the mainstation varies all the time...and as a matter of fact it is very accurate. Strange? The temp and humidity graphs are accurate and although the actual numbers are small and dont magnify it gives you a trend. Please fixe forecast=5*

As of April 23rd 2015, this app will not work with Galaxy Tab s 10.5 with the latest Android update and current bluetooth installation. When attempting to pair the Galaxy Tab s reports pairing rejected. It's a total waste of time to download an attempt to set up this app. have contacted Oregon Scientific support and they're only advice was to reinstall the app. that was useless advice. don't waste your time.

Doesn't work with Sony Z3. Should have read these reviews before buying the product as although the weatherstation works fine, this app looks like it was written by a 6 year old. Clearly Oregon have no interest in helping it's customers with an app that does what it claims to so draw your own conclusions about what that says about Oregon.

Shows weather to be always partly cloudy. Long time to load history - seems to reload all history each time so longer u have the longer it takes to see history. Outside sensor reads 3,250 under history. Did get it to pair finally. I removed all batteries from weather station & sensor, pressed reset buttons, uninstalled and reinstalled app. Then followed instructions exactly. If you try to pair through phone settings will not work. UPDATE : WON'T PAIR IN ANDROID 6

The App takes at least 8 or more times after killing the service or a restart of the Android Device, to connect to Base Station, We have only been able to connect one device at a time. the history takes over 25 sec to load, Only displays partly cloudy on the app, even when base is completely different, The Time update from the Android Device Always updates to a month behind on the base station, Temp on Sensor 2 reports 3276.5c. The Andoid System Server is using 100% CPU's Usage after installing, and viewing

The worse apps I have ever downloaded, very hit n miss to pair, it took around 20 or so attempts over a few days to finally pair, don't turn Bluetooth off as you have trouble pairing again, support seems to be non existent, the unit works well, but the all don't bother, now with android 6 no chance it would seem, what a shame.

Most nonintuitive, user-unfriendly, poorly written trashy app I have encountered yet for Android. I'm glad I don't need the Bluetooth feature. I may let it abuse me a little more before uninstalling it. Unless there is some form of divine intervention I have, however, no doubt that I will be uninstalling this junky space waster of an application.

Not sure if all the bad feedback is for another model but ..... I just got a RAR213HG and love it. Sensor linked first time and BT paired up no problems on Galaxy S5. Extra THGR122NX senors from online store arrived in 3 days and worked no probs 1st time. Very simple setup if you follow the instructions in the book. The app is pretty basic and needs some development, a widget and min/max temp alert would be awesome, but otherwise 5 stars to Oregon Scientific!

K70%

This is the worse app I have ever installed. It just plain doesn't work. The temperature in the UK is not 3276 centigrade even with global warming! Oregon obviously don't care about their customers as there has been no update since the end of last year - very poor. I wish I'd read the reviews here before buying the weather station. Sent it straight back. Zero stars (

Using nexus 6, Android 5, Bluetooth 4.1 LE. It connected once, but would not display history. Now it won't connect at all. Unit indicates connection, but app never connects. Users Manual instructions don't match up with app. Useless pos.

This app will not sync to my GS5. From what I've read this seems to be a common issue with about 75% of the people. The funny thing is the devs could care less. The apps that have probs, and the devs respond, that is an app to get. This one I don't think o saw one comment back from devs!!!!

Paired several times and cleared the cache and re-installed the batteries in main unit. Eventually it worked but I can easily see why people give up as it almost went out of the window. Both main-remote and main-app. range seems good so far. Clock refuses to update from the phone even though I have the setting on. Using on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with Android V5.1.1
