Ascent HSC Business Studies

The Ascent HSC Business Studies app is designed for students who are completing the NSW HSC Business Studies course. The app is written by a current Business Studies teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. The Ascent HSC Business Studies app consists of (3) essential features for mastering the Business Studies course in Year 12.

1. The student summary notes provide in-depth explanations, diagrams and examples making it easier to understand the dot points.The notes are based on current textbooks "Business Studies in Action 4th edition" and "HSC Business Focus". Please note: the user will need to have Adobe reader to view the notes which are in PDF format.

2. Each topic comes with (2) quizzes of 25 questions each. The quizzes require internet access as the user will be directed to a website which contains the questions. The quiz questions are multiple choice and multiple response. At the end of the quiz the user will be given feedback on how they scored and which questions were answered correctly and incorrectly.

3. Finally, there are (4) business case studies; LEGO (Operations), Rip Curl (Marketing), ABC Learning (Finance) and Woolworths (Human Resources). The notes are directly related to the syllabus providing specific business examples which are needed in the Section 4 extended response question of the HSC exam.Youtube links are included in the case studies which are applicable to the influences, processes and strategies sections of the syllabus.
