El artista de Candamo

Aplicación de Realidad Aumentada para ampliar los contenidos ofrecidos en la exposición "El Artista de Candamo".

El Arte rupestre paleolítico atesorado en la Caverna de La Peña de Candamo ha ejercido una poderosa atracción desde su descubrimiento hace ahora justo un siglo. Muy pronto las imágenes de esta cueva se convirtieron en el gran icono representativo de la prehistoria asturiana, lo que tuvo su reflejo en todo tipo de publicaciones, desde monografías científicas a guías turísticas o carteles.

En esta exposición se realiza un recorrido por algunas de las reproducciones e interpretaciones más destacadas que se han realizado del arte de Candamo.

La Realidad Aumentada es una tecnología que permite al usuario, mediante dispositivos tecnológicos, añadir al entorno físico del mundo real información virtual en tiempo real. Gracias a estas herramientas el usuario podrá superponer contenido relevante a las escenas reales y mejorar así la experiencia de la visita a la exposición.

Una vez instalada la App "El Artista de Candamo" en el dispositivo móvil el usuario tan solo deberá abrir la aplicación y seleccionar la opción de Realidad Aumentada. La cámara del dispositivo móvil se activará y enfocando sobre el panel-fotografía las pinturas se harán visibles para el visitante.
Diferentes pinturas y grabados a lo largo del gran panel se mostrarán a los ojos del visitante, además, pulsando sobre cualquiera de ellas una pequeña descripción ayudará a conocer mejor las pinturas de Candamo.

Palaeolithic cave art treasured in the Cave of La Peña de Candamo has exerted a powerful attraction since their discovery just over a century now. Soon pictures of this cave became the great representative icon of the Asturian prehistory, which was reflected in all kinds of publications, from tourist guides to scientific papers or posters.

This exhibition takes a journey through some of the most outstanding views and interpretations that have been made art Candamo.

Augmented Reality is a technology that allows the user, through technological devices, add to the physical environment of the real world virtual real-time information. With these tools the user can superimpose relevant content to real scenes and improve the experience of visiting the exhibition.

Once installed the app "The Artist Candamo" on the mobile device user only need to open the application and select the option to Augmented Reality. The camera of the mobile device is activated and focusing on photography-panel paintings will be visible to the visitor.
Different paintings and prints along the large panel will appear to the eyes of visitors, as well, by clicking on any of them a small description will help to better understand the paintings Candamo.
