Now Playing List

Like this app. I'd suggest an option in the settings where you can turn off the tracking while in certain locations. I don't need it to list songs while I'm at home and listening to music from other devices. I'd change the rating for that option.

I really like this app. The only other options I'd like to see would be to be able to play the music via my music streaming source (google play music) and to be able to create a playlist from there...

Glad I got a response from the support and the previous issues I had are now corrected. Works great on Pixel 2!

Love it, works great. Had an idea for another feature to go with the rest--a link to search Google Play Music (or other streaming services) for a song in the history.

The screen is blank, it's doing nothing. I rebooted as suggested but nothing's changed.

Great App. Was having problem where songs weren't being saved to history, but version 1.3.1 fixed the issue. App is back to awesome status.

Awesome app especially with the latest update

This app is great for capturing the songs playing when you don't have a chance to look and writ it down. Some updates I'd love to see are: 1. an on/off switch, I don't want it recording songs from the movie I'm watching. 2. A mass delete option. When I ride in my car and am done looking at the song list, it would be nice to delete them all instead of 1 by 1.

Great little app which adds nice functionality to the now playing feature. It would be great if you could delete entries right from the home screen... Swipe to delete would be really nice, just to make removing unwanted track easier

Using the open app feature doesn't work. It starts a radio and it got it completely wrong one time. "One of these nights" by the Eagles opened a lullaby radio.

The bottom half of the date-time is not visible on Pixel 2. Update--issue fixed (quickly).

I would like to review the app but when I open up the list it is blank, no history at all.

I love this little app! Is there any chance we can get a Spotify integration to be able to instantly play a song?

I think this is one manjor feature google should have delivered. It stores all the recognized songs in history simple as that. I understand why it wants to read the notification. Its to read the text.

Pixel 2 XL-- installed 3 days ago and it hasn't saved a single song yet. Update: Description should be clearer that settings changes are needed for the app to work. Have to allow notifications in the Now Playing feature.

Awesome! Thanks for the free app. It works as advertised and no weird permissions as mentioned in other reviews. Integration to Google Music or Spotify would be awesome and maybe integration to song lyrics?

Installed for a few weeks and nothing recorded. Permissions given and settings suggest it should be working.

Nice app! Just got it today and I was wondering if you have plans to allow exporting to GDocs or some sort of spreadsheet. After a few months of use, I'd love to be able to press "export" and receive a spreadsheet of each song name, the time it was logged, and the GPS location. As a data nerd, it would be incredibly fun to play with the results. Thanks!

This app shouldn't need internet permission. You want full access to notifications and full access to network, you get full access to my trash. There are other apps with the same functionality without any special permissions.

Great app. All the people complaining about permissions need to go live under a rock. If someone wanted to read your texts they wouldn't be asking your permission.

Works as described. Not sure what the fuss is about the permissions but it's necessary AND worth it. This is something that someone at Google should've added to make this feature exactly what this developer has made it. BETTER! ????

Finally, this makes my phone listening to songs perfect! I don't have to race to open up my music app to catch what the song is. It's saved for me to look at later, whenever I have time. Genius.

Really like it and it's a well developed app. Just wish it had more analytics like some other ones on the market like Now Playing Register. It's SO useful knowing the most detected artist and song, also how many songs per day you hear. Super fun and helpful information. With that I'd give this a 5 star.

I love the simple layout of this app. It's easy to use and I love the dark theme. There's nothing bad to say about this app. It's free, and I would definitely donate if I could afford to.

Wow! What a useful app. This is something that should be done by the phone by default, and this app integrates seamlessly with an already excellent Pixel experience. I was actually one of the first 500 people to download, and now you have over 10k!! Congratulations!

Great app. The permissions are comprehensive but required like this due to Google being not clever enough to have the now listening feature elsewhere than in the ambient services.

The permissions are outrageous for such a simple app Edited after I was told the app did not have permission to transmit over the internet. Sorry

Can't run the program. Just keeps asking for permission for listening service. You say yes and then nothing. Can't install it.

This app just farms your data, reads all text messages and notifications. Your paying with your data. Uninstalled immediately.

It indeed ask for permission for reading text messages and contacts. Permission for notifications are fine not sure about why it needs to access the contacts and reading the messages.

Works as advertised! Great app.

How is this not 5*. There is a paid competitor version which is worse than this. The theme is an awesome touch along with a map showing where songs were identified.
