Screen Lock Widget

I've used this widget for nearly 2 years on Samsung galaxy ace and it worked beautifully every time, couldn't fault it. Reinstalled on new Samsung s3 mini but screen keeps lighting back up after locking with this widget. Any ideas or is it just not compatible with the s3?

It has worked well in the past but now after recent software update from Samsung, whenever I lock screen with this widget and unlock it, it asks for dual authentication. Fingerprint first and then pin to unlock. Doesn't happen if I lock it with the actual power button. Unlocks the screen with fingerprint itself and no need for pin.

I know it sounds stupid, but I like to show people the picture of my kids on my lock screen. Also if I leave my phone charging on my desk at work I can lock it INSTANTLY.

Lets me lock my S3 without so much fuss. Only 27kb so consumes very little memory. Still lets me use S3's security functions. Very cool!

This widget is exactly what it describes, tap it and it will lock your phone without having to press the power button. Much easier than having to move your hand away from what you're usually doing on a smartphone: touching the screen. The bonus? It's free! Worth the download, will recommend.

Was a long time user of screen lock but recently it has a bug where the screen will turn back on. Haven't used this one long enough to know if out has the same issue. If it does not then this will be a 5 star . apk

Used to work perfectly, however, after the Marshmallow update it has an issue with Fingerprint scanner. Adds an additional lock screen, and most of the times doesn't even lock the screen.

App is 27kb! No special permission required! This is possibly the best written app I've ever come across! Clean, small, and junk-free. Thank you!

Installed on Galaxy S6 and activated then had no widget to use to lock, just using phones power button, Used data to install what a waste!!!!!

Never realized how useful this app is. Sounds silly at first, but is way better than hunting for the power button any day. 5 stars for this one

Works perfectly on htc wildfire froyo, powers off the screen, turn on again, hey presto see the lock screen. Saves use of power button 50%, thanks!

The locking part works but it directs u back to unlock screen with the light kept on. Can u fix this adding auto lights off??

I had been using it over 3 years without any glitch on my galaxy note 2 but now on my new lenovo smartphone this widget is not shown in the widget tray when I am using the vibe ui but when I use the custom android ui that time the widget is shown and it works perfectly. Any solution for this?

Screen Lock Widget seems to function identically to Lock Screen Widget, and it also asks for no permissions. I switched to this app because I prefer its icon and its smaller size. My thanks go to the developer.

i like to use it instead of hardware power button..i put one on every home screen to be easily used where ever i'm..Thanks

When I use the widget to lock the phone and then try to unlock using my fingerprint scanner, it asks for my PIN code also which is very annoying.

It asks for dual autentication after installing the widget. Fingerprint+pattern. Tried to uninstall the app but not able to do it. Dont install this incase your mobile has a fingerprint scanner.

Easy to use. The icon is abit ugly thou.

Finally a lock widget that works the way it shouldv on the Galaxy S3. I've tried others in the past where if you hit the lock icon widget, it would turn screen off but then turn it back on showing the lock/unlock screen until its timed out to shut screen off or you hit power. This one actually works the right way!!!

I used a lots of apps to lock screen but this one work so so good. You rock.( i use xperia E Dual)

Good app, very simple. But the screen is on again and shows unlock screen after i press the icon. Can it just off?

Could i make a request? could you please make this little app work even if it is installed in a sd card or better yet make an option that the users can move it to the sd card. It was working great. But now it's the time to fix the bug. Now after clicking on it the screen remains on and consequently some other problems are arising like 'not functioning of keyboard'. So, please fix the bug as soon as possible.

Been using this on my Nexus 1 for quite some time. Out of curiosity I installed on my Nexus 7 and it works :-)

It's just great it saves me from the tension of damaging my devices lock button in the long run

i used to use this apps since i used android such as LG P990 Samsung P6100 or older model, it worked well and i loved it. now i found the difficulty to lock the screen with my Note II. it would flash and wake up at once after i press lock screen icon, and occurs quite often. i want to keep using it so i hope that the developer would try to fix the problem. thank you for your useful apps.

This app is just what i was looking for because my powerbutton stoped working and this app does replace it with a on screen button!

This won't work unless you follow the directions in the description!!! At least that was the case with my phone.

Does what it's supposed to do. I am wishing for icon customization like a little girl, but meh, I can live with the green circle. Not necessary, but nice to have.

I would comfortably refer to it as the best Android screenlock app ever built. This app should be included from factory. Its simply excellent.

Ignore my previous review, to uninstall, you need to delete the widget from your home screen first, the come to this page and uninstall.

This is a great and simple app. It does what it says it does. I was looking for a lock screen widget that does not require root since I do not want to root my work phone, a Sony Xperia Z3 compact. This did it.

doesnt work on my vortex and doesnt uninstall.......... would give it no stars if i could!!!!!
