Start with an existing image on your Samsung Galaxy Note, or take a picture of a person or a scene. Then easily trace over it. If your picture is too dark, use the volume buttons to adjust the brightness. To see how the sketch is coming along, you can remove the original by shaking the phone. Shake again and the picture will be back so you continue your work. Using two fingers you can zoom in to work on tiny details. Change the pen, color, or width as needed. Making mistakes are not costly as you can undo/redo or just simply use the adjustable eraser. Once done, remove the original picture and you will end up with a breathtaking sketch! This lacks a few critical features. 1. It needs opacity control so you can blend colors/Shades together. 2. It lacks a color picker feature so you can pick facial tones from pictures. 3. Needs a constant onscreen menu for picking pens and colors. Much too labor intensive constantly clicking on the menu button then pen button to make changes.

On a galaxy note 3 this app sends a black sketch when you share a drawing. The pen palette it's so small it's unmanageable to increase or decrease the ballpoint...at the moment it's not worth the cost. Will resubmit this review if any of the above are addressed..

Okay you need to make the the wheel bigger for chooseing a color its just to small to be precise picking brighter colors would be good , Also a option to be able to save would be good when doing big trace and you have to stop you cant reload ur project to continue the only thing you can do is keep it running on the tablet. More brushes. I love this app its great It just needs some more power at ur finger tips !

So far so good! I really needed a program that I could hold the image still and just trace over it this even has the option to glance at your tracing. And you can easily and naturally pinch to zoom at anytime. I wish there was a quicker undo button. So far I love this. Definetly worth $2. Advice : Need a better picture for the logo and you'll get more downloads!! Please make a gallery I can rework my tracings again...and is saving in black / neon...? Want it white so I can print it !!

So far, robust for such an easy to use app. I am glad I tried it. Was unsure due to the reviews. Tracing some of my previously drawn intricate work. Love it!!!

Great app, even better if there was a colour picker or eye dropper tool to pick the exact colour from the photo for your sketch.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Version 4.4.2 (all up-to-date) App worked 6+ months ago. Today, when it was reinstalled, the msg stated 'TRACES APP HAS STOPPED'. It installed okay, but error report box came up- unable to open app at all. I want very much to be able to use it- there are SO MANY possibilities! I WILL rate it high when it works again (it IS an awesome app when it does!), but that can't happen until all the problems are corrected...

The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the screen still zooms in and out. Otherwise it gets the job done so I put up with it. I have a Samsung Tab 3 BTW.

Every now and again it gets a little buggy with the hide show picture . But its tolerable .

Excellent app ! There is not much drawing applications that take advantage of the Note pen. This one does. I love the volume and shaking functions. Keep up the good work.
