El Mercat Medieval torna, per 17 any consecutiu, a Vic els dies 6, 7 i 8 de desembre, coincidint amb el pont de la constitució. Es tracta d’una de les cites més importants de la ciutat, des del punt de vista turístic i comercial, que en les últimes edicions ha comptat amb més de 100.000 visitants.
El traçat medieval del casc antic de Vic, amb illes irregulars i carrers estrets, és idoni per acollir aquest viatge de tres dies a la baixa edat mitjana, moment en el que s’intensifica l’activitat comercial que farà possible el desenvolupament de moltes ciutats. El casc antic, doncs, es converteix en un privilegiat escenari per recrear aquesta etapa històrica des de diferents vessants: la comercial, la cultural i la lúdica.
