The app works very well and the text to speech with the speed control is great. But I am having issues with the search bar as it is able to search only one word, if more than one word is fed then it always shows no records found. Please fix that as it will help in searching important news better. Text to speech needs a pause button as it restarts after stopping it rather than starting from the same point.

Notifications are far too many. There should be an option to filter the subjects on which one gets notified. Also, we should be able to follow our favourite contributors and columnists, to be notified when they publish a new article. The sections need to be reorganised. For example, the books sub-section should not be under Lifestyle but instead under Arts or Culture. There is very little scope for personalisation, which does not really help readers get the best out of India's best newspaper.

Hangs a lot. Not at all smooth. Real pain. Sometimes, you can't slide down for more stories. You have to wait for 5 to 6 seconds, and then slide up or down. In the process, it may open a news item on the bottom of the screen (in which you are not interested). News items are limited. And repititive. I think it's better off using the website.

The titles for many articles in the Explained section are the same, even though the article is different altogether. Its very confusing and I thinks its a bug that needs to be fixed.

Problem is when we play video, picture stops at some point and audio goes on. Text to speech features must have a pause button so we can start reading from a particular paragraph. But overall it is nice aap. Must use

Best newspaper in India, a real journalism of courage. Little biased towards anti government, but its third pillar of democracy and it works it's job perfectly. Love the app, text to speech is very useful when one can't read specially in metro or while transiting. 5/5 to news agency. 4.5/5 app, can improve alot.

When try to open pop look up dictionary or when device goes auto sleep (20 s my case) or when come back from recents window , the app contains starts from initnitial paragraph which irritates. In short please manage between onPause and onResume state efficiently so that we can start reading where we left while resuming again to IE app. I hope u understand what the problem is. Over all it is a nice app

Hey team Indian express,I am using this app now.But I am not satisfied as IE does not cover my city Kolkata properly like others newspaper.Today 15th of October but if you look at kolkata city cection,then You will see old articke of 11th October.Is it fair to ignore just a city? All other cities are covered properly by IE.There is new article of 15th oct in every city edition page Except kolkata.

The app is good overall. But the problems I am facing is 1. If by chance my screen goes off while reading an article, it scroll backs up which is a lil frustrating, same is with the talk feature.. it starts from the very beginning. 2. If you could give us a feature to highlight text, so if we like some part more than others we can highlight it and not miss it..

Even after the update, the issue hasn't been fixed. The pages still scrolls back up whenever I switch between apps and then I have to scroll down again to there I was reading. This is very inconvenient. Please, I'm pointing out this again, fix this. And the app has started to crash also! PLEASE FIX THIS

I have sent u mails many times but it again and again sent a failure report. i want to make you acknowledge about wrong quotation published in your newspaper in wordly wise column in editorial page on 27 December 2017. please clarify to your readers about this error as i am huge follower of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and wrong quotation of him published by you hurts my sentiment. Thanks. please resolve it as soon as possible.

I m IAS.... i recommend it.. other news app bombards information tat make you more confuse.... this app updates only concised & valid news tat will take few time to read...

Just below the install/open button of the app here(Google PlayStore), it still says 'Contains ads'. Pls get it correct. Secondly, The articles have margin(space) on right side which is not required at all. And why writing India News everywhere in front of Indian Express? (to show app in search results?). Promote in better way! Edit 1: Sub-headlines not there like in website (have send you email about it)

Why can't I switch off notifications? ?? Why do the On/Off buttons turn back to being On even after repeatedly being switched off?? Uninstalling! Don't want to be bullied by an App!!

Content is good but there are a few more customizations required. Please allow us to choose if we want opinion and explained section and if you can't do that then atleast let us move world and business ahead of opinion and explained. In other words.let us prioritize what to see first(including opinion and explained)

Team, two issues that need attention: 1. Whenever screen goes off, then the article jumps to its starting position, which is very irritating and does not happen in other news apps. 2. Please add a drag down to refresh option as sometimes it does not refresh on its own.

I wonder why this wonderful app has got only 4.1 rating. Really love it. The best part of this app is the lower number if irritating ads. Keep spreading the bold journalism!

Little disappointed, as it stops automatically..not for once, twice...it stops and says unfortunately stopped working. I cant complete even a single news story because of this. And obviously, because of this problem i am not able to enjoy any other features.

Overall app is good, But the problem is in the sections like Opinion, Explained news are not arranged according to the dates which is actually not a very big task. Some news of 7 Jan are shown as 2 Jan news and so. This needs to resolved ASAP for the effective working for the users.

This app has every thing that a student wants for his/her daily general awareness needs. Interestingly, words usage are quite difficult which are useful for building a good chunk complex vocabularies

Once one article is opened, no matter which next article is scrolled to, the content remains the same, only the heading and author's name changes. Been facing this issue, despite the update

The app is great and quite fluid. But the slender line spacing in the article text makes it a little cluttered. The content would look cleaner if the line spacing is increased a bit. Amazing app.

Journalistic integrity is top notch from the express. The app freezes while attempting to switch on the night mode and saving articles. There should be a photo gallery with description.

Whole app UI shouldn't be black, Day/Night mode setting should be applied to whole app & not just the articles... News sections could be redesigned as per actual hard copy especially Opinion section which has 2 subsections - Editorial​ & Ideas

Every time I swap between apps and then return to this app...it starts from the top of the page by default and not from where I left... If the developers can solve this problem,then I would happily give 5 stars...

Reply to Developer's mail "Background Story telling options" means we can do other works in our phone while listening to stories. For example, while Using FB, the Audio News is also running,that helps us to do multi task. So i think,it would be so useful to everyone.

GUI is pathetic. Other news apps have way better GUI.please work on it

Good that Indian express is quite professional in its articles and news. It feel it is not biased. Also it is not a mouthpiece of fake gau-rnment propaganda

While sharing an article into onenote. It only shares the link. Its annoying since the app becomes useless for me compared to firefox browser or any other advanced browser in which i can open the same page and add the article in my notes very easily.

Everything is awesome in this incredible app but the Opinion tab is not opening. It goes blank whenever I click on it... Except it, app runs smoothly

I have a sugheation.when we resume activitu i.e. when we go on to another screen while in the middle of reading article it changes cursor position to the start.do not refresh activity on resume.

App is good and I also liked the graphical effect ..the way news are presented before us. Thank you and try to improve if there is any flaw.

Sandeep Shaharao. My suggestion for this APP regarding Translate. When google translate connect to view some meaning of word in My Language. After closing the same cursor automatically will move to first para. Kindly solve the issue.

If U R Eager to Get AUTHENTIC, UN SPONSORED, NO LEFT RIGHT NEWS, U Can't Get Better than T. I. E. I Loved your features of voice option, I can get the NEWS information while having BRKFST, LUNCH OR DINNER without reading it. ????☺

I am overjoyed by its "reading" feature however it irritates me when it can't differentiate between a heading and its content.

I am reading Indian Express (Hard copy) from last 4 years. I can say without any hesitation your news reporting is always true, fearless and unbiased. It's reflect in your tagline "JOURNALISM OF COURAGE" Thank you for all this and also for your great app....

There are bugs in the latest update. The app is getting crashed a lot after the update.

Gud app but after update it will always start from beginning for every news when we are multitasking. Old had not this type of issues which make app mpre boring and uncomfortable

Usually everybody's phone gets locked automatically after few seconds.Please provide an option to stop screen brightness from getting dim & screen getting locked while listening to news audio ( like adobe reader app which has an option for screen brightness lock ). News audio stops if screen locks which is weird experience
