The Seventh Annual Guildford Beer Festival takes place at Guildford Cricket Club on 9-11th June 2016.
Anyone attending the GBF (or who are just interested in it), can download the App to their mobile device. Through the App, the 2016 Beer List may be viewed, with descriptions of the various beers on offer and with links to the micro-breweries that produce them. For the music lovers, the line-up of bands and timings are set out, with links to their websites.
Check out the MyBeerFest pages. You can create your personal list of beers you want to try and then make notes when you have sampled them, even posting your comments to Twitter or Facebook.

App installed on strong home WiFi, worked fine. However festival had 3g data signal at best, app crashed and then wouldn't close without being forced. So, nice idea but sadly useless at venue.

Very helpful to use an app rather than a list. However, when beers are added to your list, you can't view the description without searching through the entire list. Also, some beers have a longer description than the viewing window, so you can't see the end, as there's no scrolling! As there are tasting "categories" added to each beer, as well as colours, it would be nice to be able to search and filter and search by these, as well as by rating. Overall, a good idea, but still got a long way to go...
