So make sure that your ticket is laying completely flat, that you are able to hold your phone steady and that you have adequate lighting and there shouldn't be any issues. Sounds like you guys are experiencing what's called a 'user error'. The app works fine.

Love this app! I am a runner that buys around $1700. to $2000. In tickets every 6 to 8 weeks, after three years of use I have only had one error of $14.00 over 30 plus tickets. Great app if you get a network error reboot your phone!

Usually works just fine when I scan my scratchers that I purchased after I play the game, and it lets me know whether it's a winner or not right away but unfortunately right now that's not the case.. I will scan the tickets and then I'll just keep saying "please wait".. what's the dealio??

Worked once, but I spent 10 minutes trying to check another ticket and no dice. The auto zoom and focus are all over the place. Worked once out of 5 tickets. Definitely needs some work.

I've tried on multiple tickets and as the girl stated about retards not doing it properly that is not the issue. It is simply that the barcode reader isn't getting a proper reading I've had several qr and bar code readers I definitely know how to work them. This one is just crap. I as well have the issue with it trying to focus and not getting the job done. And if I have to sit here and move my phone multiple angles then it's not beeping worth it just thought I'd try it. With carpel tunnel this isn't easy.

I just redeemed some Amazon gift cards with my phone camera without problem. Then I tried checking a lottery ticket with this app. It doesn't detect the barcode. I have good lighting and a steady camera, and I know that other scanners work on my phone.

Don't know if you can totally rely on it but almost threw away a winning ticket and found this app. $15 in my pocket. Ok in my book.

Won't scan, keep zoomimg in and out and tell you it's not perfect length bar code. Waste of time

I scanned my ticket and it said I wasn't a winner. For some reason i decided to double check the numbers on the mega millions website and i had won $10. Useless app.

Just remember some states don't even offer a similar app. Now that's a real pain in the a++

Works ok, no camera issues here, but always double check your non-winning tickets, this app occasionally lies and reports winning tickets as non-winning.

Barcode appears upside down, very difficult and incorrectly scans tickets, wtf.

I'm lucky if maybe it'll scan 1 ticket every few months. Its just annoying and useless now. LG G5

so i know a few ppl who use this app for scanning there lottery tickes i tried and it keep telling me invalid barcode this is for the birds

The scanned ticket said not a winner, yet 7-11 paid me $10 for a winning ticket! Double check and uninstall!

I might be my device but its not scanning it zooms in and zooms out it wont focus it sucks

For those who are having a difficult time scanning, it is a little tricky but if you put your finger parallel directly above the barcode, in addition to getting the distance just right (approx. 3-6 inches) it may help your camera to focus and read the ticket.

Easy to use, sometimes just have to move the card a bit or have the right lighting. Really handy wherever we are.

Galaxy s6. Would zoom in, focus, focus, unfocus zoom out. Zoom in, focus, focus, and unfocus zoom out. Rinse wash repeat. At least say something "unable to process" or "need more imput" even "im a shifty app, written by a halfwitt 2nd grade student" anything to give some direction that it's done processing and just doesn't work. Thumbs down I'd rather have a virus than this on my phone

Are you people completely mad. Or just have low I.Q. levels because this is all crap I have been using this app since I very first found out about it and it has never been wrong or not worked and I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but obviously I'm not retarded either I'm sorry but this app is an awesome app and if it isn't working just put your phone at an angle when you are trying to see if it is a winner and your scanning the barcode

I scanned a Powerball ticket and the app said it was a loser, took it into the site and I won $11!!! Always double check!!?

It just keeps focusing or saying invalid barcode length, even trying every barcode on the ticket. Waste of time
