SEMG - APP XXIV Congreso SEMG

Para la Sociedad Española de Médicos Generales y de Familia (SEMG), la formación continuada del médico de Atención Primaria es una de las prioridades más importantes, con la que buscamos dotar de conocimientos y habilidades a los profesionales que cada día son la referencia inmediata, cercana y más accesible de los pacientes y usuarios de los servicios de salud, alcanzando los mayores niveles de calidad y calidez posibles.

Son múltiples las actividades que llevamos a cabo de forma continuada, pero, sin duda, la más importante de todas ellas es nuestro Congreso nacional, de carácter anual, y que constituye un referente para el colectivo médico, a tenor de los datos de asistencia y participación, y el alto grado de satisfacción que los asistentes nos vienen transmitiendo en cada una de las ediciones celebradas.

Somos médicos de familia, especialistas en personas, frase que resume perfectamente el modelo integral de atención del médico de familia, atendiendo no solo los problemas médicos o psíquicos de las personas, sino también sus necesidades globales, en colaboración con el resto de especialidades.

Por ello, su formación debe ser amplia, variada, precisa, útil y en relación directa con el resto de especialistas que atienden a los pacientes, aspectos que tenemos en cuenta al planificar nuestras actividades formativas, y también en el desarrollo del programa científico del Congreso.

Llevamos meses trabajando en la logística y organización, diseñando un atractivo programa de actividades para el congreso de este año, que será el XXIV Congreso Nacional de Medicina General y Familia, y se celebrará en San Sebastián, durante los días 18 a 20 de Mayo de 2017, en jornadas de mañana y tarde.

Somos conscientes que la industria farmacéutica contribuye de forma notable en la formación continuada de los médicos de familia y pensamos que establecer sinergias en esta tarea puede servir para alcanzar mejor los objetivos de todos.

Este dosier, en el que detallamos la estructura general del congreso, no es definitivo; es el punto de partida que servirá, junto a vuestras aportaciones y sugerencias, para darle el diseño definitivo al programa de actividades científicas que, sin duda, nos permitirán alcanzar, entre todos, los niveles de calidad y satisfacción de otras ediciones.

A partir de este momento, pasaremos de la palabra a la acción, o como decía Walt Disney “la forma de empezar es dejar de hablar y empezar a hacer”.

Comité de Congresos SEMG For the Spanish Society of General Practitioners and Family (SEMG), continuing education of primary care physician is one of the most important priorities, with which we seek to provide knowledge and skills to professionals who every day are the immediate reference, closer and more accessible to patients and users of health services, reaching the highest possible levels of quality and warmth.

Are many activities that we carry out continuously, but undoubtedly the most important of these is our national Congress on an annual basis, which is a reference to the medical community, according to the attendance figures and participation, and the high degree of satisfaction that attendees are transmitted to us in each of the previous editions.

We are family doctors, specialists in people, a phrase that sums up the comprehensive care model family physician, attending not only medical or psychological problems of people, but also their overall needs, in collaboration with other specialties.

Therefore, their training should be broad, varied, accurate, useful and relationship with other specialists who care for patients, aspects that we take into account when planning our training activities, and also in the development of the scientific program of the Congress .

We months working on the logistics and organization, designing an attractive program of activities for this year's congress, which will be the XXIV National Congress of General and Family Medicine, and will be held in San Sebastian, during the days 18 to 20 May 2017, in morning and afternoon sessions.

We are aware that the pharmaceutical industry contributes significantly in the continuing education of family physicians and thought synergies in this task may serve to better achieve the objectives of all.

This dossier, which detail the overall structure of the congress, is not definitive; is the starting point that will, together with your contributions and suggestions, to give the final program of scientific activities no doubt we will achieve, among all levels of quality and satisfaction of other design issues.

From this moment pass from words to action, or as Walt Disney said "the way to start is to stop talking and start doing."
