Tried this out on my Samsung phone then walked 100 metres away from the house - the wifi itself was still on but the phone showed that I was out of range of any signal from any source. Before giving this bad review I emailed the designer to ask, rather than give feedback, if they had any suggestions but did not receive the courtesy of a reply.
