Oración a San Benito para pedir su intercesión.

Santísimo confesor del Señor; Padre y jefe de los monjes, interceded por nuestra santidad, por nuestra salud del alma, cuerpo y mente.

Destierra de nuestra vida, de nuestra casa, las asechanzas del maligno espíritu. Líbranos de funestas herejías, de malas lenguas y hechicerías.

Pídele al Señor, remedie nuestras necesidades espirituales, y corporales. Pídele también por el progreso de la santa Iglesia Católica; y porque mi alma no muera en pecado mortal, para que así confiado en Tu poderosa intercesión, pueda algún día en el cielo, cantar las eternas alabanzas.

Amén.

Holy confessor of the Lord; Father and head of the monks, intercede for our holiness, for our salvation of the soul, body and mind.
 
Banishes our life, our home, the wiles of the evil spirit. Deliver us from baleful heresies, of gossips and enchantments.
 
Ask the Lord, remedy our spiritual needs, and body. Also ask about the progress of the holy Catholic Church; and because my soul die in mortal sin, so that trusted in your powerful intercession, may someday in heaven, singing the eternal praise.
