KIRO Radio

App has no force stop button and unlike virtually every other app in the world, it will not stop playing when bluetooth is disabled. If you get out of your car and your speaker volume is down, the app will continue running and you will have no idea until you realize your battery is dead and you just accidentally used 2GB of data. This was a deliberate change by the app developers to improve metrics - uninstall this app immediately and use a different streaming app like Stitcher, Podcast Addict, etc. Those apps work correctly and are focused on user experience rather than artificially inflating ratings.

The news alerts I didn't ask for are annoying. No option within app to turn them off. Also no way to exit app from within app.

My gripe with this app is that, in order to turn it off, I have to load the app and press the pause/stop play and then I can click the "X" to close the app. If I do not first press the pause/stop play, the app continues to play whatever is on. Very annoying. Make it simple to turn it off, please.

I only use it to listen to Coast to Coast. Sometimes it cuts out but it doesn't do it to often. The only way you can really close out the app is by putting it to sleep or uninstalling it

Only able to get audio streaming to work intermittently using the "live in-studio video". Audio stream does not work. Samsung S8

I don't have much trouble with the streaming, which is great. But it doesn't have a button to exit the app or turn it off. Even using the close all apps option doesn't close it. To close the app I literally have to power off my phone. I can stop the sound with the pause button but no way to turn it off.

The Jason and Burns show made me want to delete the app. I wanted to listen to the mariners game. Not their garbage

Push notifications constantly, no way to turn off. Google should pull this app.

It needs a sleep timer

I would really like to be able to move to SD card. On my android nougat phone I can move most other apps to SD card but not Kiro Radio app. I can move Kiro Weather app. Works well on Android 7 on low end phone. I wish the On Demand/Podcast would show the show dates, like the way the website does.

Freaking Sweet Dude!

This "updated version is absolutely horrible! I simply can't handle the random repeat that continually happens. Im just going to switch to any other radio station or pod casts. Very disappointing

This app repeats the last 15 seconds time and again. The stream constantly cuts out. Needs serious work. Makes you watch a video before streaming a radio feed that already has ad's in it. Annoying.

Having a video before the stream starts has got to be the stupidest idea I have seen in a while. You can't push play and throw it in your pocket bc the video stops when the screen turns off. Little trick- press play, then immediately the "back" button. Press play again and it will start the stream without the video. I'm learning app design right now and this app sucks. I'm going to use it as an example how not to do things Update: App is getting better but KIRO stream drops out during seahawks games. I was recently in Mexico and couldn't listen to the game. Very frustrating. App went from being used daily to only being used when there are no other options after update. Brand new s7 and the app BARELY functions if at all. Anyone have a .apk for before the update??

Ad always plays perfectly - then no live stream. Frustrating app that never works.

Poorly designed and functioning app.! Obviously the idiot Developers that wrote it have zero testing & quality control. Without fail, on a regular basis, expect constant & incessant crashing without ryhme or reason. Shame on for KIRO Radio for even being associated with such programming garbage@! 12/26: more dead air, more unexplainable crashing. 1/3: same bugs. Hey Devs: put down the bong & get to work on some bug fixes!! What a POS this app. Is....crickets from bug fixes/support, and KIRO....

Every time I try and listen to the game, this stupid app crashes, but never during regular shows....same as the 710 app. Crashes during the game, but never during regular shows. WTF BONNEVILLE

Could you please fix this app? I travel for work and I would really like to listen to kiro.

Doesn't work

I made the 'mistake' of updating and I should have left well enough alone. The old app worked great but this one is a piece of garbage. And I tried it on several phones. Somebody needs to fix this now!

I loaded this app so I could stream the Seahawks in Texas. Too bad it didn't work. I hit the listen live button AND the play arrow, neither of which got me anywhere. BIG disappointment! If I could have given it no stars, I would have.

Stream cuts out consistently every few minutes. Makes it impossible to listen to my favorite shows. Please get a fix soon! Thank you.

I love listening to KIRO on all of my radios. But everything I try to open this app on my phone, IT NEVER WORKS! I am ready to uninstall it permanently if something doesn't change soon. Can't listen to my Hawks games when I am away from my radio. GRRRRR.

Used to be able to listen to Seahawks through online stream, doesn't work, so I tried the app, which also doesn't work. Waste of time.

Cannot stream. Advertisement freezes then app never loads correctly unless you uninstall and reinstall.

For one, the app needs to respond to the "pause" button on wireless headphones. Second, the app needs a pause button on its entry in Notification Settings. Pandora does both of these things. Frankly, I would rather KIRO be on iHeart so that I don't have to download a dedicated app JUST to listen to this one station.

Audio live stream works, but the video livestream does nothing.

Worse than the ESPN 710 app. Don't rely on to hear the game.

I cannot stream podcasts if I am using mobile data, which sucks. Also, sometimes podcasts aren't uploaded until a day or two after the actual show.
