I was hoping that it would actually calculate the value of the dollar based upon the inflation of the time. But this app require you to enter the inflation yourself. If I have to enter all the numbers myself there's no point in it. I hope for example to enter "100$" and it would tell me what the value of that 100$ actually was based upon the inflation. So I find this app to be useless personally!

Inflation calc without inflated amount of invasive snooping. Doesnt require ANY personal info at all. It is accurate as far as I can tell.... as far as most any other inflation calc. Kudoz to the author.

Tried this with Canadian dollars, and it's out by a couple percent every year. For example $100 in 1950 is shown to cost $350-ish in 2013, when three other websites agree at a value of $982 +- a couple bucks. Useless for Canadians. Hope it gets fixed.

This inflation app literally changed my life. I was recently captured by ISIS and they said the only reason they would let me go was if I could find the inflation rate from 1900 to 2015.
