I tested it in Assetto Corsa and apparently my AE86 idles at 7k and redlines at 8k... Seems legit

Simple and straight to the point. I downloaded this app to measure the RPMs of my push mower after doing some work on it to make sure it was within the proper range. The reading took only seconds, held very steady, and was exactly in the range I expected it to be. Haven't tried it on anything else but for this use it worked perfectly.

What a waste of time. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I did to try to see what it would say about my motorcycle rpm range. Well I can tell you that it doesn't idle at 7000+ rpm. Not even close to anything in the realm of reality. You'd be better off randomly typing numbers into a calculator, multiplying by 1000 dividing by 8 and spinning in a circle than depending on what this says.

I used this for checking full throttle RPMs on a small outboard motor. While it wouldn't lock on below about 2000 rpm, this app picked the right harmonic 100% after about 3000 rpm despite wind noise.

Worked very well for checking RPM on 2 cycle outboard. Didn't work at all at low RPM but above 3000 RPM it worked very well. Now I know max revs on my 20 HP Johnson is 5250. Excellent for a free app!

This app is Awesome! Definitely one of the best I've used. I used it on a tractor and it is right on. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating. PS if you can't figure how to use, you shouldn't have a phone.

Works perfectly. Tested against a laser tachometer. Matched readings from laser tachometer perfectly. Tested on a quadrocopter with four electric motors. Got accurate readings with propellers on and again with propellers off. Don't forget to adjust settings before using!

I use it for F1C free flight models where the RPM is between 28,000 to 35,000 and it works very good. Font and colors make it easier to read under sunlight.

Didn't work on my 4 stroke 2 cylinder dragstar 650. What I don't get is why this seems to be primarily intended to use for a car which usually has a tachometer rather than a motorcycle which very often doesn't.

Tried it on my 2 cylinder 2 stroke snowmobile. Reads way too high and not stable

I have new honda crf 450, 1-cyl water cooled. Set in app engine params, lower rpm bound 500, higher 5000. App shows random values, while engine works at 1600. Tried moving phone around with no success. :(

Works quite well, but my car is a 1959 roadster with a competition exhaust system. No excuse for not hearing every bang from the engine! Much better when driving than at standstill, as the digital display is slow to respond - needs to be damped.

i really love this app. but it will be better if i can play sound based on RPM indicator. can i do it?

I use this for my boat which is a 1973 single cylinder sabb diesel compression engine and it's easy to use and just as easy to read, reliable

250-350rpms low. Great app.

Its fake program only I try my bike and the lights will broken I test it its program don't download no rpm its not true power....

I have tried this out on our 5.3 LS V8 Silverado and my 720cc Onan engine and both read crazy readings.

Didn't work on my 4 stroke 2 cylinder dragstar 650. What I don't get is why this seems to be primarily intended to use for a car which usually has a tachometer rather than a motorcycle which very often doesn't.

It has no clue, keeps telling me it's running near 4000 rpms regardless....

I tried to use this to set the idle on my single cylinder DR650. I used the correct preset but the app displayed random RPMs. I tried moving the phone all different places, including a half inch from the end of the exhaust, but the app still wouldn't give a steady reading.

Reads 1500 rpm slow on average but jumps all over at random as well. Needs improvement.

My bike has a tach, idling at about 2100rpm according to this app it was 14000ish! Got all the settings just isnt accurate.

Xr400 dirtbike, single cylinder 4 stroke engine. Just displayed random numbers even when the bike was not running.

This just doesn't work. I've set it up and tested it on 2 single cylinder 2-strokes, 4 cylinder (Yamaha R6), 6-cyl (BMW 535xi), and 8-cyl (BMW 540i)engines with no success. It doesn't even give a "ball park" figure - it's just plain wrong. From idle to redline, this app never showed an accurate RPM (not one single time).

as I said, GSXR600 read 3-4K at idle, but the worst bit, and why it gets 1 star, is the authors choice of ads or ad service. This is adware, NP, most apps are, but when I see an ad that says "my phone is infected, click here to clean it".. it's gone. 2nd add this app ran was malware bait! Dude.. seriously!
