OK this should be good but it's not, it opens which is something but it doesn't recognise any input, call someone - NOT RECOGNISED today's weather - NOT RECOGNISED you get the picture a great shame but not worth it stick with Google now!

Super easy to set up really nice user interface very effective when it comes to the search it never missed one of my contacts. Works very well with Android 6.0. Of all of the apps of this sort on Play Store this is the only one that actually works I'd happily pay for it again it's that good

Have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling. Gives a message " Unfortunately speaker .... has stopped. Disappointed

I am looking for a stand-alone voice dialer that doesn’t rely on the Internet to completely function. It should support ‘voice tags’ in addition to having an off-line speech engine. Rather than having to choose a default telephone number, it should ask if I want to connect with home, mobile, work, or whatever number is listed for an individual with multiple numbers. It should be totally hands-free, using only voice commands. Like the ‘Phoenix’, I am hoping Speak 2 Call will rise from the ashes of hibernation and become that app. On my phone, this version doesn’t support off-line dialing, as does Google Now. Cyberon Voice Speed Dial remains my go-to app in this category . . . ~ Moto G 2nd Gen (Lollipop) and Plantronics Voyager BT Headset

Downloaded 4 times. Could not get it to work.

HTC One Max running on Android 4.4.2. After call completed through this app and tried to launch the app again to call another contact, 'Black screen' occured. Please fix it. EDIT (13-6-2015) :The new version works properly and smoothly. Thanks for the fixes.

Pays to pay the small amount that means you won't get advertisements. Works beautifully, saving so much time in looking for contacts. Excellent app!

Full version would not install on my phone. Yet the free ver does.

I am running a Verizon HTC One M7 connecting to a Jabra Freeway that I use in rental cars. When I push "Voice" on my Jabra, this app is selected and automatically connected to the phone as I wanted it to do. (The first time, of course, I had to tell the phone to 'always' choose it over the much-less accurate Google Now). Then I just speak the contact I wish to call. I agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if there was voice interaction when multiple finds are offered. In that sense, this app is not 100% hands-free. But this app is just so durn good at finding the correct match ... or close-matches ... I think I can live with that! For optimal operation, be sure to go to Settings and select AutoDial (when a unique match is found), AutoClose (after the call ends). Two areas for improvement: Unfortunately, the initial 'ding' of the app does not port over to the Jabra. Also after the app completes the search, my Jabra announces "Call Ended" ... even though the call has not yet been made; it does so whether it goes on to auto-dial the unique match it found ... or if it is offering multiple finds from which to choose.

I've turned on the Bluetooth headset bit and it's supposed to recognise when my car kit is talking to it. That doesn't work. I emailed the app creator twice and still waiting for a response which is annoying as I only bought the full version because of the Bluetooth activation. Now its not working at all. What a waste of money.

Handy as can be, if you don't have voice dial built in already. Really gets the job done.

Should have a talk back feature so you don't need to look at the phone and touch the screen when using Bluetooth & doesn't do well on voice recognition (probably the fault of Google voice)

Dialer SUCKS. Only calls contact s can't dial a number. I can't get a refund either

This app often forces me to push a button to make a voice dial call. It is NOT 100% hands free. I do not know why it is doing it. I have tried adjusting the settings and nothing helps. Total waste of money...

Needs more refinement for use with Bluetooth headset

Tried this app for the last 7 days. Voice recognition and integration with the phone book is great, but still there are several disadvantages which make this app useless. 1. Even though it supports bluetooth the app is not designed to work in hands free mode. It always require user to keep the phone and check the app output. 2. There is no or limited control of the app through voice commands or hands free buttons. It supports only one straight voice command for dialing specific number from the phone book. But there is no way to reset the app, no possibility to cancel current dialing session and no way to dial the phone number not listed in your phone book (e.g. just dictating the numbers) - in all of these cases you have to get the phone out of your pocket and start dialing manually. However this is not what you expect while driving, right? 3. There is no or limited feedback from the app. Everything is designed in the way that user must keep the phone in front of his eyes. It makes useless hands free feature. The app does not send or almost not sending the feedback (e.g. Ready, Found contact, Dialing, ... etc) to the hands free module in process of operation.

Excellent I love it.

Unfortunately, this app does not work as advertised on a Samsung galaxy III. I had difficulty loading it and I need to touch the contact name, as it doesnt respond to voice commands. Please fix bug.

I love this app but the new Bluetooth activation is a bit buggy. I have a blueant Bluetooth hands-free device. When activate the Bluetooth by voice I need to do it twice for the app to start. Then the voice is not picked up, I have to press the speak to talk button for the app to work. Update the developer has contact me to help resolve the issue great support!

Although it says it needs internet connection "for connecting the Google search engine" it should say "to work at all". It CANNOT perform any voice recognition without internet connection, which I cannot count on reliably in my country. It does not say that "Google search engine" is actually needed for the voice recognition. It really should be stated clearly. Also, it's awkward that it doesn't have a voice function to choose the contact's phone entry to dial (e.g. work, home, mobile); you must choose one using the screen (useless for dialing while driving!!!) and it will remember the choice; no chance to change it unless..... you use the screen again!!!.

Same features and settings as google voice search thought it could take over lame built in voice dialer but it didnt i want to use my bluetooth call button and have the app open instead of clicking on it

Solid, clean app worth the $2! This is the only one that would recognize my contacts that would have unconventional spellings. The developer has been quick to respond and seems to always get to all the messages sent to him. App is fast and constantly evolving. He is open to suggestions and has always been helpful. I will keep my eyes open for anything else he may produce.

It was also pretty quick until a recent update caused it to run very slowly on what seemed to be only my phone (Galaxy S4). I emailed the developer and he responded almost immediately and kept working with me through the day until he fixed the problem and made the search even faster. Unbeatable app and support!
