Drift for App.net for Android
Drift as many features but the highlights are :
* Interactive timeline makes the application easy to use. Tapping on links, usernames or tags from any stream just works
* Image sharing using App.net storage capabilities
* Drafts supports, you can switch to any other task without worry with the ability to save your work-in-progress
* Quick reply, you can reply to a thread without switching to another screen
* Single-handed use, because application should be handy.
* Support for private messages and rooms.
* Push notifications for mentions and private messages.
There are still a lot of features coming :
* Tablet interface
* Geo tagging
* ...
NOTE: Access to App.net network requires a separate paid subscription.

the app was compatible with my Nexus tablet. Please help me not to use Robin anymore.
Notifications don't work, no updates for more than a year, gg uninstalling
i hardly ever use ADN, but because this is such as well made app, im so going to use it more!
Minimal and polished app
good
The developer refuses to issue the certification required for this app to work on the Nexus 7, says it wouldn't look good on a tablet. FOOL. It works on a 10-inch tablet. Useless thing won't refresh when requested. Only way to get to the current timeline was to log out. Then it wouldn't accept my ADN credentials as valid until I uninstalled it then downloaded & reinstalled it. Don't waste your money on this JUNKWARE.
Usable, nice design, etc. Things I'd fix or make easier: view conversations with fewer clicks and Reply All. Also, when viewing conversations, it shows real names so it's tough to know which handle goes with which person

This is the benchmark for ADN apps. Both rich in features and tight UI that adheres the Android Holo, makes it the best ADN client for Android.

Not necessarily a fair review: I simply can't use it - avatars are swapped between users in my timeline, making for a very confusing experience. Guesswork: At 3 years since its last update, probably best to try on hardware pre-Android 5, but more-likely hasn't kept up with API changes.
