Joe Kwon's True Ghost Stories

I like it but it needs to let you choose your own books to read that are scary. Like your fav books, and I thank that you should be able to like the books you read that inrush you and that you can understand. You shouldn't have to buy the books you love to read..... Take it from me im a book nerd. ????????????????

I love true ghost stories or anything paranormal. I can relate to a lot of the authors because I've seen unexplainable happenings myself. Even if you're not a believer, they're still good stories to read around the campfire!! Keep em coming!!!

I'm trying to purchase the annual subscription but it keeps saying, "user is not eligible for this purchase" ???? I've been trying to buy the annual subscription for the past 2 years. Can you please fix this? Or I am uninstalling ???? and I was looking forward to reading all the stories since I found the app in 2013 I guess that will never happen ????

Total rip off... had this on iPhone a while ago. Was a one off cost. Now they want a monthly cost or yearly or life time. Get a grip. The user's submitted the stories and your trying to profit off them. Such a shame you got greedy.

The apps content does not justify the price Joe Kwon Inc is asking for (a monthly subscription fee, no less). I strongly discourage people from downloading and paying for this app when there are tons of other high quality free ghost story apps out there. Do consider this before paying.

Had to rewrite the review. Was a brilliant app back in about 2013 era for iOS. £1 and the whole app was unlocked. Now for android subscription monthly or yearly...really? Talk about greedy. Well done developer just lost a loyal customer who used to read the stories on this app all the time. Not anymore now that a subscriptions been added. Enjoy losing customers. Bye.

Not only do I love stories and movies about ghosts and creepy things that go bump in the night, but I to have the abilities to communicate with them as well. Reading true stories like these intrigues me and keeps me wanting more. They are well written and are able to help you visualize the whole perspective of what is being told. Awesome stories to tell around a campfire or a slumber party or sleepover!

When this first came out, I wanna say 2013 or so, EVERYTHING was free. No unlocking, no monthly subscriptions. Completely free. I too like many on here was a long time customer, the stories were great. Had a user name and all. Then it disappeared off my iPod. I was sad to see it go and happy to see it come back this year. However I just downloaded it for my android and have to pay to see everything. No Thanks. Cash grab! Going to look for another app. I only gave it 2 stars cause of the good memories or what it was.

Don't like the fact it instantly asks for rating to unlock stories, however once I've actually had a chance to explore the app I might re-review. I will delete if there are constant demands for subscription or poor quality stories.

I love this app. If u love horror and scary stuff this is the best app for u. This app is perfect for u if u want a little shiver to run up your spine. Listen to me and download this app so I and hundreds of other people could read your story.

I bought this app for my iPod a while back but since my iPod broke I decided to download it on my phone. The app is still extraordinarily entertaining the only downside is the subscription. What makes the iTunes store different from the Android's playstore, Mr. Kwon

FEELING CONNED!!! I Have this on iPhone, I luv it, which is why I put it on tablet, once downloaded on tablet, I opened it & it offered me a FULL FREE UPGRADE to full app if I rated it, so I did, & guess what?? Yup NO upgrade! NOT HAPPY BUNNY! DO NOT OFFER IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA FOLLOW IT THROUGH!!! For that reason I've changed feedback to 3 stars :(

I've had this app since 2009, think it's a little unappreciated that I have to pay substantially more on my S3 to keep it now. Would be 5 stars if not for that...

I previously had this app on my old iphone & they were all free. Now they bloody charge a subscription fee.... stuff that! Not enough free stories avail. Ruined it....

But very unfair with the hole "you can't read anything but maybe 10 story's because your not paying us" thing. I got this app when it first came out and I was on it 24/7... I lost iPod for 2 years and just re downloaded app and I'm very disappointed. Don't download app unless you have a credit card.

Terrific!! I had this for my iphone years ago and loved it. My kids and I love reading the stories. *I installed it-the app says if you rate it, which i had, that it would unlock certain categories- like featured, purgatory, archives..etc; after rating it nothing unlocked...disappointed!

Excellent app full of interesting stories (true and untrue)! Only issue I have is with the comments section. Your comments have to be reviewed before it's posted and none of my comments posted. I posted comments questioning the truthfulness of the poster because of the conflicting information given.

Used to have the iPhone version. Switched to android and found my favorite app costs a fortune.. Fail fail fail. Should be the same on all platforms!

I have this on my ipod touch before I had an android phone. I've read the stories and it makes me have goosebumps of fear but I can still sleep like a baby depending on how scary it is but, anyway, this app has stories that will make you feel fear!! I LOVE IT!!

I got this app when I had my iPhone and it was free then. Could look at all the stories you wanted no problem. Now, there's a monthly, annual, and lifetime FEE?! What a waste. I thought apple was bad about making folks pay for alot of things. But this put apple to shame! Don't bother downloading. Greedy people.

I downloaded this app about 2 years ago on my ipod touch and when i searched for it on android it wasn't there. I was highly disapointed as the stories gave me nightmares for days. Now that I got it back im am ecstatic to sleep with the lights on. And the best part FREE. DL now You wont regret it.

I really anjoy reading the stories on here. There are alot of scary ones that are definitely true. But the only problem is you can't get all access to the app unless u either pay once a month or yearly! And if u decide not to you basically have nothing to read because it's all locked! But other than that it's a great app!

I've always found these types of stories interesting, whether there true or not Is another story. But its a great way to make the time go past, scare some friends, or really connect and appreciate what others may have been through. It gets the brain thinking and that's the main thing. Great app

I love this app my niece told me about it and I am so happy I finally got it on my Android. However when I try to register every name I pick they say is already in use. Even when I pick random letters and number so i don't know what to do. Because I have a lot of stories and pics I want to add and write but can't. Even one of an Asian little girls face showing up in a pic with my daughter and there are no Asian children in my house. Not living at least! And I can't rate any ones stories either. Please help

I love this app, however I have submitted a story twice now and it never goes anywhere. I think there is a glitch that keeps my story from showing up to the editors. My comments on other stories also do not show up. It would definitely get 5 stars if that were fixed. I want to be able to share as well as read.

love this app! so glad they finally made it for android but what I don't like is paying the insulting price for the subscription ,that only android users have to pay! When I had ios was a$1 Why such a huge difference???NOT FAIR! !!don't mind paying for something I like but not over an over an this high amount so for this I changed my 5 star,rating to 4!

Have this app on my iPod, thought I'd get it on my tablet as it's got great stories. Might go back to iPod if I have to pay for each or for a yearly subscription. Trying this to hopefully unlock some stories, if it doesn't work I'll delete the app :-( update: only unlocks 'featured' ghost stories, will read then delete app, sorry developers!

I originally had this rated at 3 stars, but it's not worth it. It's very limited in the amount of free stories. There was a pop up claiming to unlock 120 more stories if I rated it. Still not worth it. Maybe if it were all free. I only say this because why should I have to pay for an app like this when I can go get any number of apps similar to this with 100% free stories? Also there are tons of free fan made stories on the internet. It's easier just to take your app off of my phone and not have to pay.

Have Used this for years on an iPhone, stories seem vetted. Unfortunately, just downloaded on Samsung and everything costs money to unlock. What's up with that J Kwon? Can I get a long time customer/contributor transfer or somthing? Why don't you just charge for the app upfront and have the whole thing unlocked? people would still buy the app. This app used to be great, but like another reviewer said, now a cash grab

This is total crap. When I had this on my ipod touch, before I even got the full version, I had more access to better stories. When I decided to upgrade it was like 99 cents. Now there's this subscription thing that if I want to do a once and done payment, is 60 bucks. Terrible. I won't be able to read my favorites from when I used my ipod because they'll be in archive by now, and I can't access archive without having to pay for a stupid subscription.

Do what you have to do,but to imply I have broken the law is bad business and ignorant! I had a locked iPhone wouldn't even know how to jailbreak a phone and had every story free! Had to pay when I switched to android! Don't ever accuse me of pirating

I love this, I had It on my ipod touch and now my tablet. Must have at least 80 stories In my favourites. Some, really do make you think.... Is there something ? Ok. Have had to lower the star rating as I can not get this any longer for what ever reason!!!

Love it! Other apps doesnt allow you to submit your own real life ghost experiences but this app does! Thats what really sets them out from the rest. The only negative thing is on itune i paid a once off for the app but over android it wants you to pay monthly, yearly subscription. So basically its not really free since only get you a few stories and limited functions.

I had this app on my iphone for the last 2 yrs and just switched to a Samsung... so horribly disappointed that the price went from .99¢ to .99¢ a month. What a rip off. I talked about this app non stop for a long time and now I can't even read more than half the stories because I refuse to pay a yearly fee or monthly fee. Very disappointing. It's a great app but the creators seriously need to get over themselves. They have lost my 5 star rating as well as my business.

Opened the app today and it says I need to upgrade to the latest version. I have automatic updates but checked it anyway. It says its up to date but I still can't access it. Just keeps saying I need to upgrade. Plus it says on the free version of you review the app then you get access to all the featured section. So far I've reviewed it about 4 times but still haven't got access to featured section. Not happy. Loved this app but now I can't even get it to work!

Love that its a forum for everyday folk who have had experiences. Would like to be able to search more efficiently by maybe clicking onto a location, author, rating, possibly by subject, instead of using the filter tools. I have been unable to upload photos though but I see some people have managed.

I remember this app from the dark days when I had an iPhone. Been waiting for the android version. It has issues at the mo but so did the original. So 4* as I know it will get there. On Samsung Galaxy S4 btw. Update: The app now works - just a little sad that us Android users have to subscribe where iOS users pay a one-off fee for the app. Kinda feel a little cheated.

I love this app :) I read every night before bed with the only light glowing from my screen. It's the sensation that something is looking over my shoulder, the nagging feeling of wanting to check under the bed, but mostly, it's the strange fascination with the things we fear that keep me coming back for more! I recommend this app to anyone who loves to indulge in the excitement of being afraid.
