Elamie ergänzt das Modul “Früherkennung und Frühbehandlung von psychogenen Essstörungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter”, welches die Krankenkasse AOK Nordost im Rahmen des Programms AOK Junior (7 -17 Jahre) führt. Sie ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Macher von Jourvie, welche mit der gleichnamigen App Menschen mit Essstörungen während ihrer Therapie begleiten, und der AOK Nordost.

Die Nutzung der App Elamie wird Eltern und Angehörigen vom behandelnden Kinder- und Jugendarzt zwischen dem Vorsorge- und Kontrolltermin empfohlen. Elamie ist zugleich eine Informationsplattform zum Thema Essstörungen sowie ein Protokollierungsinstrument. Ziel ist es, Erziehungsberechtigte für psychogene Essstörungen zu sensibilisieren und den Blick für mögliche Warnhinweise bei den eigenen Kindern zu schärfen. Ergebnisse werden anschließend mit dem behandelndem Arzt besprochen. Die protokollierten Eindrücke ermöglichen Ärzten neben der zeitlichen Beobachtung medizinischer Parameter auch einen Einblick in das Verhalten des Kindes oder Jugendlichen.

Elamie added the module "Early detection and treatment of psychogenic eating disorders in childhood and adolescence," which Junior (7 -17 years) leads the health insurance company AOK Northeast under the AOK program. It is a joint project of the creators of Jourvie which accompany with the same App people with eating disorders during their treatment, and the AOK northeast.

Use of the app is Elamie parents and relatives recommended pediatrician between the preventive and control visit by the attending. Elamie is both an information platform on the subject of eating disorders as well as a logging instrument. The aim is to sensitize guardians for psychogenic eating disorders and to raise awareness of possible warnings with their own children. Results are then discussed with the treating physician. The logged impressions allow physicians in addition to the temporal monitoring of medical parameters also provide insight into the behavior of the child or adolescent.
