Jumia Food: Order meals online

Its a great app personally it has worked for me though delivery takes long a times. Then the other thing is you guys should put the right prices e. g China bowl's pork ribs is 18500/- you guys put 24500/-. Please work on that

My grouse with the app is the long time it takes to confirm orders from resturant. Sometimes as much as 15mins! Someone shouldn't wait for that long to confirm if he is getting food from there or not. If it takes more than 3 mins pls allow us to exit and choose anthoer resturant Another ask is if we can choose and mix from different restaurants. Sometimes restaurants don't have all that we want to eat. Hope you guys work on this

It works well but some places like Pinocchio should update their listing. They have more dessert choice than currently shown. Your customer service representatives do you proud. Just the restaurants need to hurry up with delivery. 60 mins in unacceptable. I wouldn't wait that long in their restaurants. It's the same preparation time.

Twice my food has been delivered late. And each time it's been KFC. I don't think you have a good working relationship with KFC. They never follow instructions and today my order never came. I think you have to have a good talk with the folks at KFC, as they will ruin your rating and reputation. DO NOT ORDER KFC through this app. You will be in for a rude surprise including "the open bag" during delivery. Very Unprofessional KFC. Jumia find a new Chicken Place. Drop KFC. They are too big to care.

It's a good app. Used it a couple of times and they came through but the last time I used it, my order came in so so late, breakfast turned into lunch and the bread was already sorgy and the bacon badly burnt.

I actually like this app a lot, but it has this super annoying feature of asking you to rate it and then only having the options of "yes" or "ask me later". Rating it now to get that to stop, and giving it 3 stars because anything better would be kinda silly since they forced me into this

It's great!! Fast. Easy to use. The team are helpful and call to confirm your order. Just great!! This is a small thing to mention but it's so helpful to have pictures of the food you can order. It helps with tricky food selection decisions! Just east could learn a lot from this app!!! Very happy!

Poor customer service. Could not make their phone work and actually called me so cancelled the order. Unreachable on the number provided by email. 50min expected delivery when restaurant can make the order ready in 15. A joke... Not recommended.

Switched to Jumia Food after a nasty experience with one of their competitors. The delivery fee is quite higher and the delivery time is marginally longer. However, I can't complain much so far so good.

Its gets quite annoying having to direct the delivery person to the destination. Using the gps system wouldnt be a bad idea.

The app may be great but the service is terrible. My food is 1 hour late...and counting. These guys really need to work it out. There is nothing worse than hunger.

Twice they have been late with my meal but when I press no in the app for late delivery, it stops working. After 30 mins of being late the app should be working and if compensation is promised the app should work.

Delivered all my 50+ orders later and sometimes mixed up the orders until Customer Care called me up and said because they can't deliver in time, they won't deliver to me anymore!

My experience has not been consistent. POS issues, late delivery, no confirmation calls...the list is endless. Ive started calling the individual restaurants to directly order, saves me time and my experience tends to be better.

Very handy for people returning later from work and are unable to get to the store before night. Only downside is that navigating drivers to my place of residence is often difficult... but this is true of many drivers here in Kampala.

Its an amazing portable app. Some minor adjustments are needed on the destination, quite annoying explaining where i live all the time! Apart from that its an amazing food app.

Tried ordering and apparently the app sends a confirmation code to your cell....but the code was sent five hours later. Smh. Even call confirmation didn't work. Deleting this app. Its useless now.

It's pretty amazing how convenient this app. It provides a broad range of restaurants popular and up starts alike serving at moderate prices with fast transportation for the deliveries. It's very useful for those in a bind who need food within the hour.

The thing is, it works but that's pretty much where it ends. No credit/debit payment, the fact that i have to talk to a person to confirm and a lack of proper descriptions for meals.

Waited for my food over two hours. They don't actually give you the free meal on late delivery. False advertising. And getting in touch with the restaurant takes a lifetime. Hate it.

Its slow it takes 71 min for a restaurant tht would take s person a 30 min walk other thn tht its ok

It always delay the food. Even to communicate to the restaurant it takes ages

Great support - they'll call to confirm and are great communicators. App is a little clunky to get up and running but in general it's pretty reliable.

Good service however I don't understand why the have to call to confirm your order..what is the point of ordering via the app then

They promise next meal free if delivery was late but failed to live up to their promise. Sad

This app is so easy to use! I have ordered three times and each time my order was perfect.

Orders over the website are processed faster than on the app. Also, there should be a grace period during food preparation to allow you to change the delivery address

Best food app. Convenient, easy to navigate, great variety, amazing deals! You just have sit back and relax!

The password reset still does not work and the app takes too long to load!

Provides a large variety of restaurants, and covers a very large area , the prices are pretty moderate and acceptable, the only problem is the delivery time.

Accepted my order, listed my area. Called 10 mins later cancelling because "there is traffic and it's late". It was 7pm.

It doesn't recognise a lot of locations and cities in nigeria, just lagos and abuja

As advertised, they're reliable with good service. The app itself works great, and the restaurants are generally good at fulfilling.
