칼로리 소비량 계산

본 프로그램은 한국인 20대~50대 남,여 811명을 대상으로 안정 시부터 최대로 운동할 때 까지 소모되는 칼로리 소비량을 자동 호흡가스 분석기로 측정한 자료를 바탕으로 칼로리 소비량을 계산해 주는 프로그램이다. 대표적인 칼로리 계산법은 일=중량×거리 개념을 이용하여 일의 단위를 칼로리 단위로 환산하는 방법이다. 따라서 사람의 칼로리 소비량은 일=체중×이동한 거리를 계산한다. 하지만 이런 방법은 성별, 체중, 걷는 속도, 상하 움직임, 걷거나 달릴 때의 속도에 따른 효율과 개인의 효율에 따른 변이가 발생한다. 또한 보폭을 측정하거나 속도 및 이동 시의 신체 고도를 측정할 수 있는 보조기구가 요구되는 등의 제한점이 수반된다. 따라서 무엇보다 이러한 제한점을 배제하여 정확하면서 간편한 칼로리 계산방법 및 한국인 자료기반 프로그램이 필요하다. 본 프로그램은 이러한 난점을 보완하기 위해 한국인을 대상으로 안정 시부터 최대운동에 이르기까지 소비되는 칼로리 소비량을 자동 호흡가스 분석기로 측정한 자료를 근거로 성별, 나이, 체중, 운동 시 심박수, 운동을 행한 시간(분)를 입력하면 안정 시 혹은 운동 시 소비된 칼로리를 계산해 주는 프로그램이다.
