Korisnici moraju prvi put uneti podatke za cenu el. enrgije, konstantu, pdv itd.., nakon toga program automatski učitava podatke za sledeće stanje brojila, tako da korisnik samo kasnije unosi datum očitanja i novo stanje brojila. Naravno mora se paziti kad se prelazi sa zimske na letnju tarifu jer se tu cena menja.

Utrošena el. energija - u računu se pojavljuje kao "aktivna energija" i izražava u kilovat-satima ( kWh ). Plaća se broj utrošenih kilovat-sati tokom obračunskog perioda. Ukoliko kupac ima dvotarifno brojilo, električna energija se obračunava po višoj i nižoj tarifi. Ukoliko ima jednotarifno brojilo, električnu energiju uvek kupuje po jednoj tarifi.
