Kansas City Star Newspaper

I've subscribed to papers for 30+ years, and love them. But they're dieing. This app is a very good substitute. Could use more human editor's. Weird stuff sometimes gets through.

The writing is deplorable. I didn't make it a day with this app.

Pushed scareware to my phone. Told me my phone has multiple viruses, indicated I should download some malware to fix it. Too many adds everywhere, too much trash news. Uninstalled.

To many issues, but not afraid to take a stand when needed.

Didn't give 5 stars because they block articles if you read too many on the app

Worthless! Won't load half of the time. Slow as hell and not worth the effort.

I love this app. I can get the news wherever I am! User friendly. Thank you so much!

Reading the paper without getting ink on your hands; what more could you want!? The info isn't bad to have either.

This app freezes and crashes too often. It's kind of a crap shoot each day whether I'm going to be able to access any current local news. Sometimes it's frozen on a previous day; other times it just won't open.

Since we have a subscription to the physical paper we rely on the app while traveling. Some problems with freezing but like the major sections to access areas of interest. Great to get the inside story of our beloved Royals.

Although most newspapers cut their teeth on copying national news this app/paper loads up on metro news. Great reading and local sports to boot. For those that the app freezes up on get a better phone, works consistently on my moto z pure.

First time I used it, it froze up. Needs more work.

Newspapers have changed a lot in the last few years, but The Star continues to be the best local option for regional news coverage.

Locks up when scrolling through stories very frequently.

When I click on a Ad, the screen goes blank and the App crashes.

Love the app and the fact it don't shut out this sometimes -subscriber from details of the news. Also love e-Star but don't always keep it going.

If you want to know what is happening in KC, the Star is the best place to look.

I haven't had any problem with the technical functionality of this app. The newspaper gives a person the optionality of turning to the parts of the news interested in at ones leisure and a good job has been done to put it into app format.

Some people will always complain about something. Every app. Etc will have a few bugs. This app is great. Thank you. Too the people who are unhappy about price or whatever nobody forces you to subscribe. Frustrating. Keep up the good job kc star.

My local paper I've been reading for 50 years has an excellent digital edition. The bells and whistles might be lacking just a bit, but the reporting is top-notch and the columnists are universally outstanding. The best way to keep up with Kansas City.

Very easy to navigate but evidently due to cost cutting measures the paper has less content! Miss Barb Shelley very much as she wrote some great columns!
