Good app overall but REALLY FRUSTRATING trying to find your backer number on completed pledges. It should not be this hard. Basic information for a basic need. Please fix this. Where it says "You're a backer!" either show the number or let us click it and get the backer number. Bad ux.

Cant use "share" button to any other chat app except Line. The android share function on other apps let you choose from a full list of system installed apps. But Kickstarter is either bugged, or locked it out. Also after sending messages to creators, the message screen doesnt scroll down to the bottom, to show the newly sent message.

The latest update makes the interface more clunky and less user friendly in terms of moving from reviewing a project to pledging for it. However it remains a good way to manage your Kickstarter pledges and check for updates.

Love the app, very fun to browse and to shop while killing time. 4 stars since the only downer is it is very long sometimes to load more info on the campaign pages, even when there is no problem with wifi or mobile internet.

This app needs to have the same functions as the website the fact that I can pm the creators of a project with this app means that every time I want to do so I have to uninstall the app just to not be redirected to the app from the main webpage as well, not ok!

I couldn't find a way to message campaign runners in app. I ended up using my Chromebook.

Filled with great stuff & the user interface is not complex @ all. They finally updated it so one can send & read messages to & from the campaign creators from the app, & not jus via computer.

Insanely buggy app that keeps crashing.

Great app, great community. I use it primarily for tabletop games, and the creativity and ideas that are being nurtured is so great to see!

I really love kickstarter. It enables me to explore ideas and support those which i love the most. The app make it easy for me browse any project at any categories. However, the app tends to load slowly sometimes. But overall, I love it!

Ok. The section to mark projects "Got it." Needs improved. You have to keep clicking "see more" each time. Just list the projects and put the check box out in the open. Make messaging easier. Easier to find. Change the "heart to a more contrasting color like it used to be.

The app was great until the great blob update occured. Now the colors are horrible, and important data no longer stands out for easy viewing. Please return to the older version. :(

A simple app for checking out projects. I struggled with updating my profile info so had to revert to the website.

It disconnects with Facebook then requires me to log in. Not all the information such as survey responses are not accessible... I have to log in through Facebook....again, horrible redundancy.

My review is about the Kickstarter App and its functionality, NOT Kickstarter itself. In trying to streamline the Kickstarter experience, they have left out some important functions. Messaging is far too complicated and difficult to do. Granted, we can make public posts, but try to message a creator directly (say for updating an address or asking for clarity regarding an add-on) and the troubles begin. Surveys remain an issue, as they aren't easily found to fill out, nor accessed after having been filled out (contact information updating). I think if they develop two dedicated apps: 1) For a smooth Backer experience, and 2) For a smooth Creator experience, they'd hit a grand slam. What they're trying to accomplish in one app for both is making too many compromises. My 2¢.

Decent app. Admittedly I use the website more often but for quick pledging and project deadline reminders this app serves its purpose :)

The app itself constantly shuts down, not sure why. I go to the site more often than using the app. That being said, I'm a big fan of Kickstarter. I LOVE finding new products or businesses to support while getting a reward in return!! So many truly amazing ideas in one place!!

I have been backing projects on Kickstarter for a couple of years now. I think that I have backed 45 seperate projects. I have only been burned once. That was the first one. They took the money and ran. But that is the chance that you take. Everyone else has been great to work with and I will continue to back projects that catch my eye.
