Great Comic Reader - Please donate so the devs can keep improving. *Update* is there a way to store App Data in a manner that can protect it from Cache Cleaners? Android is clunky and requires constant cleaning... could App data such as read comics and other usage be stored in a location other than System Cache, therefore protecting it from Cache Cleaners?

My favorite reader so far. I do wish that it would offer an option to invert the portrait view, however. It would make it easier to read while charging my tablet on its stand. Minor complaint, obviously; otherwise, it's ideal. Thanks for a great app!

Aside from that, works fairly well as far as storing comics and sorting by series, so no complaints there. If they would just fix the bug I mentioned would happily rate 5 stars.

Almost a great reader. There seems to be an issue with (or lack of) the fit-to-screen function. Cuts off the bottom of some of my comics. Really easy to use, easy on the eyes, and I like the display of total number of pages. If the screen issue gets fixed I'll purchase the full app.

Has many nice features, especially being able to browse pages by thumbnails, but I REALLY don't like the fact that it uses 400+mb of cache for thumbnails, which I have to regenerate every time I clear my cache. This REALLY needs to be fixed, as the comic readers I USED to use no longer function properly with Kitkat, so I have no CHOICE but to use this one. Also, the magnifier needs a lot of work, it would be VERY nice to be able to view comics in more than one location, and to have the option of double pages in landscape mode would also be a nice addition.

I have issues maybe once out of every 250 issues. I've tried other comic readers to find something kore dependable, but no such luck. I have issues every other issue or every ten issues on top rated apps. I suppose I'll use this as main one, and the others as backuo, because this one is the best out of all of them.

Fantastic little app, best comic book reader I've tried on an android device so far. I agree with a couple of the other reviews for minor tweaks, scroll can seem a little unresponsive at times and I'd like the option of choosing the thumbnail displayed on each book, but those comments are by the by. I just started using this reader and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It handles CBR files readily an has a nice thumbnail shelf. The only thing I think it lacks is a single tap to advance pages. Otherwise a very solid comic reader. 4/5

The best part of the app is the way it displays my collection. Easy to find and distinguish from diff comics. Biggest issue for me is the annoying accidental page turn or that page scroll that pops up from accidentally touching the screen. Also zooming, and page turning is suuuuuper slow and loading takes forever just for the next page, this is appalling and makes reading my comics more of a nuisance than a pleasure.

Each passenger blurs as you scroll, admittedly you're only scrolling for a second or two while reading but it's something that just bugs me. Other than I recommend it to anyone!

One complaint, the ridiculous page turner thing that appears if I just hold onto the screen for one second. Isn't there anyway I could get rid of that feature? It's infuriating.

There are a number of things that could use some work. The zooming, the highlighting, and the annoying sidebar that is always popping out on me - interfering with my reading. Those are only the first 3 things I thought of . I could mention more , but since I'm only rating 3 stars I thought I'd leave it at that .

Worked really well on tab s when i first installed it, but after a couple months of not using it, when i went to read a comic it took forever to load, this is with every file now. It used to load in an instant. Basically rendering it unusable.

I hate jagged scrolling, this is the only reader I could find without that problem, but two fingers to zoom? How the hell are u supposed to read the zoomed text when ur fingers are covering it? Lol hope they remove that feature to useless memmory

This has been my go-to comic reader of choice for years. Unfortunately it's starting to show its age. Frequent crashes on larger sized files, can be slow.. It's very good but it's starting to need some updating.

I never really read comics until I got this app. Now I'm hooked! The app itself will crash on me maybe twice a day when I first open it, and the landscape mode takes a minute to work, but that's all patience stuff that will probably get resolved later. Otherwise, this is probably my most used app.

I wish I could give it more than 3 stars, but I find no way set a folder on my microsd card as root. I did manage to get it to open by creating a folder on my page for it, clicking a file and Komik would open it. The other problem is that it either gives me an error, or goes back to asking me to set root folder whenever I turn my screen from portrait to landscape.

Been using this for years and works great most of the time. Occasional crash, but starts right back up and doesn't happen often enough to distract. One thing that lingers though is if you zoom in on the page sometimes it turns into a black and white mode when you let go of screen. Only way to get color back is hold screen down, or flip the page.

I have gone through a few comic readers and this is the best. Other comic readers just load all the comic thumbnails and you cant make head or tail of it but comic goes through the file path and is much organised. Also neat and sufficient settings with nothing technical. Best comic readers for beginners and veterans.

Excellent app. The best one out there. Thanks for all the fixes. Now all it's missing is a cool homescreen widget but we can we wait. I still hold this is the best app n terms of speed and overall usage. But I'd kill for a page-turn effect.

According to this application 10 comes from 1. Please teach this app how to count. :) But from another perspectives its useful. It has next page effect, displays, you can resume when you stop bla bla..

Crashes when I try to use Komik app to delete my read mangas. Not a big deal since I can manually delete them via connect the tablet to the computer.

This is a pretty good comic reader, I used it mostly for loose jpegs which a lot of other comic readers do not support. Unfortunately the devs seem to have abandoned it back in 2012 so there are some issues, such as the app crashing anytime I try to delete anything. If you can get past that it's the best one I've used so far, but I will be looking for a more up to date alternative.

what is with all the blurriness when scrolling through images? I am on the latest build of android and I am experiencing this serious flaw. Has no one else out there noticed this? It is enough of a problem that it is fatiguing to the eyes. Aside from that this is a good app that I WOULD HAVE purchased. However, I cannot recommend it over ACV as it stands now.

Works as a charm, by far the best app out there: simple, yet does everything it is required to do. I want to throw my monies at you for this, so if you implement a paid version (nothing extra, just maybe remove the ads), then I'll be the first to pay for it. You deserve it.

The reader is good but HOW DO YOU CONTROL IT? Every time I try to scroll down a page in landscape mode fit to width, whenever I touch the screen, the page selection menu pops up either on left or right... That thing is making this so unusable... A good app but beyond your control... I should've given it 2 stars...

For some reason it started making comics in black and white when i read in landscape, when i read in portrait mode it is fine, but in landscape they loose color after it finish loading the page it is really annoying and i dont know why it does it. tried to clear data, then tried to reinstal but with no effect

Whenever I use landscape mode on my note 3, pages go black and white. I really like this app, but this is the score it gets until it gets fixed.

Takes a long time to show page in full res; when zooming blurs the page. Quite nice UI (except for the annoying page selection on the right)

I liked this app. But now, it's just problematic. It's always going black & white. I like the layout of the library, however, actual reading hasn't been all that good like it used to be. Now when I have my tablet in landscape mode to read at a much larger size..the pages are initially pixelated, and take some time to clear up, and sometimes don't. At this point, I usually have to go back a page and then return for it to be clear. Not a big deal, but annoying after a while. Also the black & white issue is rather annoying. I'm uninstalling for now. Going to try another app. It was good while it lasted. No hard feelings, just hope it can be made better.

hi i've been using this app since came to play store, but in the lates updates i've notice a bug, when you erase a file run into a error the app close and you have to open it again, but if you try to erase more than 1 files run into the error again but doesn't arase any of the files selected. other than that the apps is great.

So every time I get on it it has a force close plus it confuses me and I got a really fast phone so I know that ain't the problem,so like the whole app is boogi,blank,butt,stank,dumb the whole app is slow....layla out

It would be great if the full screen I motion mode, that way you would get even more out of the screen with the notification and virtual buttons eating up a considerable chunk of real estate.

Since the last updates, the images are turning black & white unless you go into the the "select page" menu and go back to the same picture you were. On each image.
