TxtSpkr (Text Speaker) is an app that reads out your SMS text messages to you as they come in. This is quite handy while driving, if your hands are dirty and you don't want to handle your phone, or if you simply don't feel like getting your phone out.
This app is meant for phones since it is only useful for devices that can receive SMS text messages. The UI is not laid out for a tablet.
This app currently has only been tested on a limited number of devices. It has been stable on all of them but it's stability cannot be guaranteed for all devices. Please read the user guide to make sure you understand how the app is to be used and expected to behave.
Please try out the app as soon as possible to see if it meets your needs. If it doesn't or you encounter problems, you can get a refund through the Play Store within 15 minutes. Within 48 hours you can request a refund from Google.

When connected to a Bluetooth headset, sometimes the speech still plays through the phone's speaker or plays partially or not at all. I haven't been able to track down the behaviour because it is different depending on the Bluetooth device and phone.
