My Calcul is a handy calculator that can also solve equations of all sorts. Whenever you think of a new calculator application you could install on your mobile device, check first if My Calcul cannot do exactly what you want. You may find out that yes it can, and it can even do a little more than what you were looking for:
- calculate the monthly repayment on a loan of such and such characteristics, but also (with only a few additional key presses) calculate the amount you could borrow if the repayment was increased by $10, of if the interest rate was reduced by 0.25%...
- calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) but also (with only a few key presses) what your weight should be to get under the magic limit of 25 (or whatever)...
- calculate the share of each guest if we want to leave a tip of 15% on that restaurant bill, or (with only a few key presses) what the final tip will be if we all round up or down to the next $...
The limit of what you can do, either with the equations and formulae that come pre-installed with the application, or with the new equations that you will write and store yourself, is your imagination.
My Calcul stores formulae and equations with literal variables, parenthesis and the usual mathematical functions. When an equation is opened, its variables are displayed in a table that looks like a small spreadsheet where each cell is an input cell and a calculated cell at the same time!

Ive been searching for an app like this for a long time. Works ok, a bit clunky, but managable. Id love to be able to string saved equations together, or save an equation as a variable... basically off three variables x,y,z one can then report volume, surface area, perimeter, etc etc in one hit. Also need to be able to determine a variable as global and lockable (a parameter?). I've looked at all the spreadsheet and database apps out there... this could develop into a killer-app

the calculation concept is the same but input method is much easier and quicker in s60. please make the interface the same as My Calcul.

Finanz by Kylom was my favourite app on S60. When switched to Android I missed it much. Now it's over. Still addition of logical operators would help.

when putting a symbol to the power of something i.e. g^0.333. Which is what I need it for so its pretty useless. GS2. 5 stars if fixed.
