I just subscribed to WSJ and I'm really disappointed in this app. No sections, not searchable, can't find weather or obits. Nothing is grouped together. I could care less about earning/redeeming points, yet that is what they made the focal point of the app. Someone lost their focus. I JUST WANT TO READ THE PAPER!

Half of the news is sports news, which I have no interest in reading. Why can't it be grouped into sections like a newspaper? And the whole earning points aspect is just stupid.

Pretty bad UI. Articles load blank all the time. It handles photos horribly. Contract a different company to build the next one.

It sucks. Can't search for stuff, can't go to different sections, have to earn points for what ever reason. I pay a lot already to get your daily paper, I also should have full access to everything without jumping thru hoops.

I hate scrolling through all the news to find category of news I'm looking for. Why don't you have departments - news (state, local, national, etc) sports, entertainment or lifestyle, etc.

All I want to read is the sports section and there is no way to go to the sports section. The app displays the new articles in a descending order. Totally useless

Updates load half the time and crashes regularly. If there was another Madison news option I would use it.

App was average before upgrade and is a runny turd now. Buggy as all hell. FAIL!!

All I want to check is local high school sports, the new page is terrible

Stuck in endless login attempt loop. Currently unusable app. Last 2 major updates have been horrible. Whoever you paid to create this update since November has not done the greatest work.

Photos are too big, way too much sports, clunky nav, sharing points is stupid and immature.

So updated recently and now every time there's breaking news I get a notification. Cannot find a way to turn them off! Sent a message and don't get a response. I agree with all other recent posts regarding this app. Was a frequent user but thinking of uninstalling it and using other more informative apps.

Not sure how you did it, but you managed to make a very bad app even worse. Gigantic pictures instead of useful headlines/descriptions of stories, no timestamps regarding when they were posted, no discernable order to the stories, no access to letters to the editor or opinion pieces, no categories (news, sports, local, opinion). No comments anymore. Abbreviated articles in the app. Congratulations, your app is pretty much useless for local news

The 11/1 update makes the app more unreadable than the previous version. As a 7 day a week subscriber with an existing login, I don't appreciate having to create another login for the app plus having to "earn" points to redeem for something like sharing an article. My monthly payment should earn me unlimited points.

I'm not even sure what this app is trying to be anymore, but it's definitely not to convey news or information. Stunningly, amazingly bad, they made it WORSE than the 1-star it was before. You're a news organization. Do your civic duty and give us a digital source for news in Madison or don't even try. I'm a subscriber to the paper, but every time this moves away from being informational, it makes me question whether I should be.

While this updated ap is less user friendly than the old ap I can live with that....until last night. I woke up this morning to about 20 breaking news messages from the State Journal all very old and out of date. Not "man lands on the moon old" but November 2016 election results old to items that were breaking news last week! Come on State Journal your better than this!

Worst update ever. The app now requires you to create an account before you can seee anything. I use to use this app at least twice a day, now I'm using other news apps.

Most people would prefer to see content instead of large pics. Not sure how this format is better than the last. Using channel3000 for Madison news.

I USE to use this app 100× a day. Uninstalling! Update absolutely terrible and have no idea how to navigate to any of the things I specifically used this app for. Also android user but downloads apple to my android phone which makes it NOT compatible at all obviously.

The design and layout is abysmal. You can't even sort by category anymore. Whoever greenlighted this new app should be shown the door.

Uninstalling - I don't want to log in for articles. Very annoying that it was added - understandable for premium content but not for free general news.

It's 5am and I've been woken up several times by this app tonight. Notifications for news events that happened months-weeks ago! Uninstalling, Byyyeeeee!

You haved completely made this app horrible since the most recent update. Your news is old, no more obit section, sports coverage a day old. To many ads, I'm getting rid of it you have wrecked it!!!!!

I am not creating an account and handing over my contact info just to read the news. Deleting this app. It was bad before, now it crossed the line to terrible for me.

OMG. 11/2016 update is awful. Pls provide a way to roll back. New navigation is atrocious!

This used to be my go to news app. Since the 11/1 update it has turned to crap. I will be deleting this app.

Previous version was iffy to begin with, but this..... One of the worst apps I've ever used. So long.
