LifeShield

After the last 'upgrade' of this app everything went south. I'm not a fan of the landscape orientation, but that's more of a nuisance. I now can't view cameras in the app, and if any error situation occurs I can't click on the error otherwise the app crashes, and the leave feedback option doesn't even work (so posting issues here). Please fix as a security system that i can't see and review the status of isn't a very useful one.

The app is good for remote monitoring of your alarm system. I like being able to view/record from the camera. However, since they've updated the app, they removed valuable features such as the panic button :(

This app is crap now. I view my camera one time after download and it only works one time. I have to delete app and reload every time to view my camera. I called lifeshield numerous times and never fixed. My tv app is not working either. Nothing is working as advertised and they won't let me out of my contract without paying $250. I will tell everyone I know that I work with to stay away from them and I work on a major contact with over 4,000 people.

The system in my home never works. The guy that installed it did not do a good job. The guy on the phone I just talked to would not let me speak to manger. I finally got one. They will not send some to fix my system.

The app works fine for the most part, it will slow down over time though. The biggest problem with the app is after every update, it wipes out the settings, and the save credentials.

App speed and connection speed needs to be Improved. Please create a quick arm/disarm widget.

This app need to be updated asap. With the amount of users, this app should STAY updated constantly...

Great Mobile App

Sometimes when I leave for work the app says it armed when didn't. It also says it armed when it's not.

I had this system for only 2 days when it quit working. After numerous calls to Lifeshield Security themselves ( 15 calls total ) and numerous calls to Direct TV ( 15 calls ) they never addressed the problem, they never sent the installer back, they did absolutely nothing. It's now 8 months later, the system still has not worked since 2 days after being installed and still no word, no solutions from either Lifeshield or Direct TV but Direct TV sure has not missed a single payment for the system. Go figur

Once system armed can not log out in have two systems so this is a very big problem

The LifeShield app is much better than it used to be - clear, concise, simple, easy to use and quick to perform talks.

It's working for me

But I can't. The CrimeWatch stopped working. It only has "CrimeWatch service is temporarily unavailable," and a Refresh button. It's never worked reliably. The previous app version, it wouldn't work at all. This update, it worked like twice. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling - including deleting caches. Still no dice. At least I can see my cameras and Arm/Disarm. That's the main thing, I guess.

It use to let me live stream my cameras now since the update it will not connect. This needs to be fixed immediately.

Latest update (11/12) is a great update. Simplified the UI. Very easy to access the main controls of arming and disarming. Camera, log and crime watch right up front. Much better overall. App speed and connection speed to the system needs to be Improved. But I understand there are other factors

Simplified , big buttons, easy to operate. I basically just use it to arm and disarm remotely. I don't use any of the other fancy functions so I can't speak about them.

Easy control secure on and off. History access door in/out.

Can't log out after system is armed

Great app and improvement.

I could use it before the update and now it won't even open/connect/login what ever you want to call it, most of the time.

Great Mobile App

It works fine, it's a little confusing to get to the live view camera but other than that works great.

The app locks up every time I try to stream live video on a cellular connection. Video only works while connected to WiFi.

Very poor app need to improve. What the good of having if you can't use!

It would be very handy if I could instruct my echo to arm my security system. Other than that the app works fairly well, it just does not get a signal with cellular service. I have looked around and cannot find any antennas that are compatible with this base. Those two items would get you 5 stars.

App will not work on my Android. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Won't work with or without WiFi.
