Locauto Rent a Car

Much more than a simple car rental booking application. You can use this app to subscribe for free to Elefast, the most innovative system in the rent-a-car industry, a real “Car Rental Revolution”. Elefast allows you to book and rent a car in a full self-service mode, with no need to walk through the counter. You will be able to unlock the doors and pick-up and return the car just using your mobile device. Elefast is available at all Locauto Rent airport locations.

HOW DOES ELEFAST WORK?
1.Elefast is incredibly easy to use: just subscribe for free, directly on the App or through the website, providing your personal data, your ID card and your driving license details. Create your personal account and keep your credentials safely.

2. Log onto the App or the website, make your search on the rental location desired and book one of the cars marked by the Elefast symbol. You can add the additional services that you need, as the GPS or other extras. Finalize your booking in a few touches and prepay your rental.

3. Starting from 48 hours up to the pick-up date and time, you have to preauthorize the deposit for guarantee, using the App or the website. Once completed, the App will notify you the vehicle plate of the assigned car.

4. Your account needs to be validated only once, before your first rental. You will just have to show the ID card and the driving license provided at the subscription to the counter staff. This procedure will be necessary again only if you change your account. Please remember that if you don’t validate your account, you won’t be able to open the car and start the rental.

5. Walk directly to the parking and find the car you’ve been assigned. Follow the simple procedures provided by the App, check and acknowledge the car conditions and open the doors with a touch. Start the engine using the key you will find in the front left door pocket and… have a nice trip!

6. At the moment of the drop-off, park the car in the Locauto reserved lots, follow the procedures provided by the App, as for example the check for eventual new damages, leave the keys in the front left door pocket, lock the car with a touch on the App and close your rental agreement in full self-service mode.
