By far the best sleep tracking app there is for free with great features and customizations, is the best sleep tracking app out there. Coming from a UX guy, the interface is easy on the eyes and easy to navigate. Let me save you time, stop here, I've tried the other sleep tracking apps and This one wins hands down. Tracks movements and noises in your sleep, and that includes when your wife talks in her sleep and is dreaming about George Clooney. Download it now, amazing app that's on my top 5 list.

This app used to be great back in 2013. It's a shame this app stopped receiving updates. I've moved on to "Sleep As Android" for 2 and a half years. Amazing replacement for this app. Frequently add new features on their beta channel. And monthly updates in their stable releases. Highly suggest checking it out. I found a script online that allows data to be converted so no data was lost in the move between apps.

Saved 2 sleep records but won't show last night's. I can't really judge it much based off anything yet. Layout is good, easy on the eyes, very sensitive detecting motion AND sound even when settings turned all the way up/down. I have screenshots about my issue though.... Dev team I'd love to hear from you and share this with you.....

I love this app and have been using it for years, a good way to ensure I sleep enough! However within the past week twice my alarm hasn't gone off until I've turned the screen on, on a Samsung S7E. Any idea what is causing this? It's making me very late to work ???? and have had to go back to the clock app, which doesn't interface with the sleep tracker.

Very simple to use. Yet provides a lot of control & measurements. I use it with "Relax & Sleep" app, set to play the sounds of babbling brook & crickets with a countdown-sleep shut off after 15 minutes. Together these give me conscious control over my sleep & have helped me to increase the amount and quality. Excellent app!

I initially installed this on a whim, but it's been amazing. I have no use for the sound recording so I cannot speak to that feature. The motion tracking with the sleep tracking is wonderful, I can actually see how well I slept. It would be nice if I could set a threshold that it would only count below a certain movement level as sleep, though. Or an option on the auto alarm to set based on sleep debt, for naps.

Love this app. I don't use the alarm since I had one I'm extremely used too. But I love it for tracking my sleep. I can use the motion sensor to figure how much sleep I actually got since it only counts from when you clock in and out. But I dont sleep through the night. The one thing I wish eas fixed is when I choose the option to record ALL sound it doesn't record at all and I know theres sound I have 6 guinea pigs and a chinchilla who are awake all night.

I like this app. There are a couple more features I'd like, but it's pretty good. Ideally, if be able to set my sleep length goal. Right now, it thinks I'm over in terms of how much sleep I'm getting. I know I'm under! I'd want to tell it a 9-hour night is how I roll, so it can adjust. I'd also like some falling asleep sounds but that might disrupt recording the sounds. Mostly, if like to adjust my ideal sleep length. Thanks for a great app!

I really like the graphs and stats. I'm narcoleptic and will be able to better report my sleep habits to my doctor. I used it several years/phones back. The alarm was great, and I liked the fact that it detected the best time to wake me...I found that made a difference in my day. However, I recently installed it (a couple phones later) and either I can't figure out how the alarm works or it's not functioning properly. I believe a more clear explanation of the various settings would help. I had set the alarm, then it would go of at some random time in the middle of the night. And, I couldn't figure out how to turn the darn thing off. So for now, I use a different alarm and only use this app to track my sleep.

by D####:

This app has changed my sleep habits for the better. I would give this app 5 stars if in the pattern graph view I could scroll the y axis up and down... It's a bit incongruous to have half of the sleep at the top of the graph and the other half at the bottom. I'd rather see one continuous bar of sleep for each night

I love this app. It has a great alarm that you can gradually make louder if you want, so no more jolting out of dreamland. I also enjoy keeping track of my debt and I use the note function to record my dreams. I was disapointed in the sound recorder. It works well but it never caught any of my nightime jibberish.

I want to love this app but I think my working the night shift throws it off. I am in debt almost non-stop even when I've slept more than enough. Can you make a shift workers edition? Also for those with rotating shifts who will even sleep more than others but just at varying times.

Many well-built features, sleek interface, never malfunctioned. I like the many options for setting alarms and the sleep/debt overview a lot. Only drawback is that it wakes me a bit early (light sleep/movement detection) when my cat hops on the bed, but that's hardly Sleepbot's fault =}

I've been using this for about a year and it is very accurate, easy 2 use, & helps track better than other apps. Update 2014-12-29 - the ability to backup to the cloud stopped functioning and without this feature, it is not a good app IMO. I went to the website for the app and the security certificate was expired and unsafe. I tried to email the developer for support as the app no longer syncs and they have not replied. Definitely not a good app anymore. TOTAL THUMBS DOWN!

This app is wonderful. Last night was my 1st night and I loved it! I used it for a couple of reasons: 1. I wanted to really see how many hours I truly sleep. 2. I tend to talk in my sleep and would love to hear myself lol. The only downside is I sleep with a fan on 365 days. It caught a lot of the background fan which made it a little difficult to here myself either moving or snoring. Other than that great app! SN: this is the longest review I've EVER wrote! Developers

by D####:

I use this app every night. It's very entertaining to recap over my previous night's sleep (pretty much the only reason I use it lol). But it would be neat if it wouldn't stop recording sound while there is sound... I hear myself or some other loud background noises, am trying to hear whatever it was, and the chart breaks it up, removing the rest of the sounds. If there was some kind of way to keep it recording long sets of sound, this would be perfect.

D70%
by D####:

I use this primarily for the smart alarm. Even still it stores a log of how long slept which can only be deleted one by one or by using the phone system itself to erase all data from the app which removed my settings and started a lot of bugs from alarm times being changed, to not punching out, and the snooze not working. But alarm wise, it is very helpful for getting me up when I need without feeling drained.

I gave an Samsung Galaxy S3. I previously used the trial ver. of Sleep as Android and it woked perfectly until the trial was over. I love smart alarm feature so I looked for another option. Found Sleepbot which looked promising. It did record my sleep movement and sounds however the smart alarm did not actually go off until the designated time, though I had been awake for about 20 minutes. Additionally after telling the app I was waking up, the snooze kept enabling itself and going off every 10 minutes.

But I am bothered by two things. The main one being that there is no way to export sound files. This would be a rather useful feature to add. The second one, and really a huge bother... Why the hell does the iphone port look better? Better graphs, more details, everything. There is really no excuse that the port of an android original should look, and work better.

D70%
by D####:

Movement tracking showed nothing in history chart though tracking showed fine during sleep. Notes section is odd - set to title caps and unswipeable on keyboard. Having to press letter by letter was an unpleasant experience. Nice layout, though I see now why the main competing app uses green instead of sleep/nighttime-associated blue. Way easier on the eyes.

Been recording my sleep patterns for over a year now. Great for calculating how much sleep you get and has a timed alarm system to wake you up at your ideal time. However recently the app hasn't allowed me to close out my sleep cycle. It almost seems like it hadn't been recording all night and I end up having to manually add a sleep entry. It's been a constant everyday for the past month or so. Please fix it, because I love this app

B70%

The sound recording didn't work for me, every sound spike does the exact same sound. Like its a random loop or something, so that's weird I would like it fixed so I can hear everything I say while I sleep. The movement graph is cool. The alarms work for me, can choose my own sound or song to wake me. Only thing is when I have to work i sometimes hit the snooze button too many times. If you could put in a puzzle or something to where I actually had to think to turn it off that would help. Good app overall.

I track the lenght of my sleep every day. It helped to develop a healthier "i must make sure to get enough sleep" discipline. Great that u can turn the phone right to offline mode (no incoming calls possible) when punching in to sleep mode. One function i would improve is the graphic showing past sleep pattern. Jumps too much even if sleep lenght differed only 30 min and dooes not show a full month record. Apart from that i would like to be able to change the sound of the sleeptime reminder.

This app works perfectly! I have been using it for a month and have experienced no problems what so ever. I don't record audio though, so I don't know if the storage problem on that is true or not. But, I do use the motion tracker and I personally think it is pretty accurate. Using the app is also very easy. First I just set my alarm and then right before I'm about to fall asleep I tap the sleep button. I then place this on the side of my bed so the sleep tracker can do its thing. Overall beautiful app!

I haven't tried any similar apps, and it's only my first day using this, so I'll try to update this after a week or so of use. I have narcolepsy, and it's great to finally have a picture (and sound) of what goes on when I sleep. I'm sure this will help me better understand and cope with my condition, and be a useful tool for my neurologist to better treat me. At this point, provided there's no surprise changes, I would highly recommend this app.

I have tried a couple other sleep tracking apps but this one is my fav. Only thing missing is sounds to listen to while you fall asleep (like lullabies in sleep as android..). Other than that it is perfect. The graphs are a nice way of keeping up with your sleep habits.

I have used the app for a few weeks now and I generally really like it. What makes this useless for me is the fact that the snooze function does not wake you up sometimes. I have slept in and was late 4 times already! Please fix this, because the app is really good otherwise...

I've been using this app for a few years, and have been loving it until recently (and by recently I mean the last two - three months). The snooze function DOES NOT WORK. If I try to snooze, the alarm shuts itself off. Having multiple alarms does not work either. I'm so so sad, because the "updates" have not fixed the problem. I rely on this app to wake me up for work, and I can't be late for work (it's already happened once). Please actually FIX this app. It was so great. Now, not so much.

Pleasantly surprised to learn the movement-sensing alarm really does make a difference. For the first time in my whole life, I'm waking up when my alarm goes rather than hitting snooze. The app is a bit buggy though. While I can see the sound recording graph just fine, the movement graph line doesn't display. It's a pity, it would be interesting to see. Just one other suggestion: the colour scheme should be customisable. Blue has been proven to impair sleep.

D70%
by D####:

It's okay, but not everything works as planned. Clicking on a sleep activity log opens a window with no graph, even though the graph preview is present on the main screen. Also, even with highest sensitivity, on my oneplus one, the app barely registers movements according to the graph, which I am partly attributing to my tempurpedic mattress not transferring a lot of motion. Essentially, this becomes a head movement tracking app placed under my pillow. Notification reminder doesn't open the app neither...

I've been tracking my sleep patterns for over a year and it is so helpful to have this data. I've even used it to show my doctor. I dont use the smart alarm much because I'm usually sleep deprived, but I record sound and movement. When I forget to punch in I always estimate when I slept and manually add that in to keep a consistent record. It's so helpful to look at the graphs and notice if there's a change in my pattern. I also love the snooze button on the alarm as it allows you to change the snooze time.

I can't restore from export file. I keep getting the message "sleepbot found no export file in the export folder". I have 14 export files. I chose the correct time format so that's not the problem. I went to the site to contact them and all their links give 404 errors. I've been using this app for the past 2 years and I love it. Never missed an entry. I would like to continue to use it but will uninstall if I can't even contact them. Changing my from 5 to 1 star.

Low-maintenance app. I've used the free version every day/night, for several years, on 3 different android mobiles - and haven't had any issues. Almost exclusively use it for tracking my sleep, as I have scattered schedule. I don't usually use the alarm features, although they work when I do. My latest mobile (Motorola) won't allow the noise recording, but I found that useful/interesting on my other phones. Bottom line: excellent reliability, have recommended to friends and family.

I am willing to pay a reasonable amount for bluetooth-bracelet/support to allow accurate sleep-qualitiy-monitoring without needing to leave my smartphone on my bed. (The 'phone can always slide of the mattress and break.) Also: Would you please fix a bug/error; manually recorded sleep-entries are not shown there-after in the sleep-entry-list. Merely restarting the app~ will then show the lastly manually entered sleep-entry.

I love this app! Its really good for sleepwalkers because you can hear what you are saying, without having to go through the whole night. It tells you when you need to go to bed to get enough sleep (according to your alarm). It should ask for your age to tell you when to go to bed based on how much sleep you need for your age. When you tap on the spikes, sometimes it goes onto a different one and you have to listen really closely sometimes. Overall I love this app, and it would have 5 stars if the minors.

I've been suffering from irregular sleep and sleep debt for weeks. Downloaded this app to see if it would help. The interface is great and well designed and there are lots of customizable options. It's cool to see your movements at night and you can record yourself, found out I was clicking my teeth at night that way! The app will use your sleep data to configure an alarm to wake you at the best time in your sleep cycle, or to optimize the amount you sleep.

Using for years, mostly love. Noticed lately that if you hit snooze then lay there and play on your phone, SleepBot decides you're officially awake and disables the snooze, resetting the alarm. Means if I hit snooze, check something on my phone, I don't get the snooze alarm... HEY SLEEPBOT! Just because I used the phone for something doesn't mean I'm up and don't need that snooze alarm. How about an option to choose to disable snooze or not based on phone activity?

D70%
by D####:

Superb app. Love how it let's me monitor my sleep. The feature that allows it to wake you up early based on your sleep cycle is awesome, actually feel like I have more energy compared to when I don't use it. BUT the alarm goes off even if I've said I've already "woken up". Very annoying. If this gets fixed the app is worth 5 stars.
