It is a long standing project. But please work further on blocking harassment and unrespectful messages and words. I know it is hard but feasible. Also, the session is dead without notice sometimes leaving me frustrated about an interesting uncompleted discussion. Also some robotic users infest the app with unrespectful nicknames and profile description. Pro: free, real persons, ...

Tchatche caters to the French community. It is a app that encourages chatting with others first and foremost. For this reason, you will not see many profile photos. In fact, you may not see many profile texts either. Signing up for a free account is optional, so many just use anonymous logins to use Tchatche. Sending messages is free. The interface is crude and not terribly user friendly (such as a button sidebar that has to be scrolled to see all options, despite no indication to scroll said bar). Profile text has to first go through an automated verification of words it does not like (such as drogue) followed by a human verification (these unwanted words are not indicated and rather it is up to you to find out which words the system doesn't like). The app placed my profile photo sideways (first out of 20+ apps to do this). There are no push notifications, so to find out if you have new messages, you HAVE to open the app each time. You can view online users as pegs in Google Maps, which is neat. However, the memory footprint this thing takes up is massive: my phone was super sluggish after 30 minutes of leaving this app idle (couldn't even kill and restart the app in that session)
