It’s great, easy to use protection with the added benefit of never having to remember or change a password again. And just like your bank card, nobody else will be able to use your MP-1 token because only you will know the PIN.

This thing is coded to prevent Android devices from falling asleep, which is infuriating. I need this for work, otherwise I'd have trashed the thing immediately. I have to generate new passwords several times a day, and I'm tired of having a depleted battery every day I work!

R70%
by R####:

It failed during the initial setup. Fortunately, I also have the option to use a PC for verification instead. This has been removed from my phone with prejudice.

K70%

Just crap, pure crap, nothing works, cant believe you had courage to publish it on play store

I finally got around to reviewing this application and I have to give it 5 stars because it's never ever given me a problem

I keep getting random error messages saying I'm out of tokens and to call my administrator. I do and they have no idea what the issue is.

R70%

Does not work on ICS; certificates will not import. Looks like this has been an issue for months but still has not been addressed.

N70%
by N####:

i copy the code and import, but always fail to download the token, that is quite wasting my time

This app works but it's not power saving on a HTC and drains the battery. Not build for HIDPI screen also.

Gave, "Token could not be enrolled" generic error msg. Closed all non-critical Apps on the Android with Battery Doctor, left Google Search, Google Keyboard, Google Play Services, and Google Play Store open, and tried the instructed version way again. Fail, same generic error msg. Confirmed that I have space available on the Android to allow for a download. Confirmed I was on strong WiFi signal. Uninstalled the App, cleaned device cache, restarted device, re-installed App from Google Play website, tried again, and no dice. Copying and pasting directly from automated key generator so no chance of fat finger error. Two stars only because it is the first review written for this device and it could be that it simply doesn't work on this model (LGE Nexus 5)

Works but needs GUI improvement. It stays ON unless you lock the screen. ..

Crashed the second time I tried to start it (as it was still running I believe), but once I realised you need to actually kill it off each time manually, its been working since. Bit untidy (could take some design hints from Google Authenticator), but works well for accessing our VPN at work. Would be nice if they keys could be generated using Authenticator instead which everything else I use works with, but its at least not too huge and bloated. Setup was OK for me, it sent me an email which had a link to the android play store for the app, and then a second link which the phone knew MP-1 could handle, so I opened it with that and it downloaded the key automagically.

This app does what it needs to, but it's a bit clunky, especially with the fact that the screen stops timing out and if you aren't careful your before you know it your phone is half dead. Unacceptable in this day and age.

S70%
by S####:

Pastable codes to import, doesn't use much resources

S70%
by S####:

The inability to paste import codes is bad enough, but add the fact that my codes are erased when the phone is rebooted, and this app is basically useless. If I didn't have to use it for work, it would be gone in a heartbeat.

No copy paste for generated code?!?

S70%
by S####:

It would be great if you can change the PIN input field so the enter key on the keyboard would do the same thing as pressing the Done button. Currently if you press the enter key to submit the entry (which is a fairly natural response) it drops down and creates a second line in the PIN field...

F70%
by F####:

...but the enrollment process is terrible. No way to self import a token and half the time the phone won't recognise the format. I really wish they'd fix the install process for this. Otherwise, once installed, if you can get it installed, the app works fine which is why i'm going to award it two stars :)

P70%
by P####:

When selecting the .7mp file to attempt to associate it to app doesn't work! It doesn't provide you MP-1 app to associate the token to! This is on Jelly Bean! Please fix!

S70%
by S####:

Does not work on jelly bean, ICS and gingerbread as well. Unable to associate the token file. Improvement needed badly if this app needs to succeed. It is working on iPhone though. Possibly apple is trying to take away all the access or probably the developers have developed cold feet against android. The select token option does not work at all.

S70%
by S####:

It appears that on ICS when you install the MP-1 app it doesn't make the file association change. The phone doesn't know how to handle the 7mp extension. Thus, you can't enroll. Bummer. East fix, CryptoCard. Sort it out.

S70%
by S####:

Very poor setup on this, if you accidentally start the PC enrolment process it'll download an incorrect token which the app doesn't recognise. You need to get your token revoked and then a new one issued, when issued ensure you click on 'Android' and not 'android/iphone' and it'll then email you the android compatible token. No idea why one token cant work on all devices, really silly process.

S70%
by S####:

Does what it should.

S70%
by S####:

Fantastic software works really well. A little buggy after first installed, for some reasons i it dosn't recognise the token at first.

S70%
by S####:

It needs a link from the cloud to generate the..Tok file. I just want to import it into the mp1 app.

H70%
by H####:

I am enjoying the convenience of using my phone to log in instead of carrying around a hardware token.

S70%
by S####:

Needs ability to press enter or done after entering the pin to generate code. Right now you have to press the done button outside the keypad. Also would like the ability to copy he code.

S70%
by S####:

Does it work with CRYPTO-Server or CRYPTO-MAS? Or just Blackshield-based?

S70%
by S####:

Even buggier than their blackberry implementations. Why self-enroll? Why not just import the file. Kicking ourselves everyday for not going RSA.
